A gold-mining–led sector theme is emerging in India around (1) domestic gold substitution (import reduction), (2) permitting and project execution as the binding constraint (not geology alone), and (3) capital intensity shifting from exploration to mine-build as projects cross commissioning thresholds. The extracted dataset is centered on one listed Indian explorer-developer transitioning into a multi-asset operator (India + Kyrgyzstan) while incubating a pipeline across base/critical minerals (Ni–Cu–PGE in India, tungsten in Spain, gold in Finland, lithium and Cu–Au in Mozambique). The operational inflection (first meaningful production and commissioning milestones) is expected in FY2027–FY2028, with large step-up capex needs (INR 800–1,000 Cr) thereafter.
Although “precious metals” commonly includes gold, silver, platinum-group metals, and sometimes specialty metals, the commercially near-term cash flows in this dataset are overwhelmingly gold (India: Jonnagiri; Kyrgyzstan: Altyn Tor). The same platform is also being used to pursue:
