From Super 30 days to building for the world

13 years back, everything was just a dream. In 2012, when I went to Patna for my JEE preparation, I had ₹2500 to survive the entire month. I shared a room with 2 others, ₹800 went for my lodge rent and I was left with ₹1700 for food, books, stationary and everything else.

I cooked my own food, cleaned my own dishes and washed my clothes. It was hard, extremely hard. Because after all that you still need to study for the rest of the day. And you had to do this not for a week or a month but for 2 years straight. But I stayed consistent, kept working hard towards the dream, got an excellent rank and went to IIT Kanpur in 2014.

When I came to college, English became my next barrier. I had never spoken a full sentence in English before and suddenly it was everywhere, from classrooms to clubs to interviews. What do you do? There is no substitute for hard work. I kept learning and gradually became fluent.

Everything today still feels unreal. That one exam not only changed my own life but transformed my entire family's life. My first internship at Entrayn, my first job at American Express, my dream job at Goldman Sachs, everything still feels like a dream.

That's how I have been built over the last 13 years. The courage to build a global company from India that will impact millions, comes from this journey. It's not the result of a week or month's hustle. It's something that I have kept doing for the last 13 years, every single day. And I'll keep showing up, forever.
