Autoline Industries FY26: Strong revenue growth, lower margins, and a PAT boost from exceptional income
Ask Iris
Autoline Industries Limited closed FY26 with a strong rise in scale, supported by higher volumes from key OEM programs and increasing contribution from expanded manufacturing capacity. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations rose 25.13 percent year on year to 824.05 crore in FY26 from 658.55 crore in FY25. EBITDA increased 14.94 percent to 78.70 crore, while PAT more than doubled to 38.50 crore.
The headline profit growth, however, needs context. FY26 included exceptional income, and this lifted reported profitability. The company also saw a decline in operating margin, with consolidated EBITDA margin moving down to 9.55 percent from 10.40 percent a year ago. The year therefore reads as a mix of strong execution on growth, some pressure on operating profitability, and a one-time gain supporting reported PAT.
Management attributed the revenue momentum to healthy demand in key segments, improved product mix, and higher volumes from major OEMs such as Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland. The presentation also points to increasing utilization at newly added capacities in Chakan and Sanand as a contributor to growth.
FY26 performance: revenue surge, margin softness
The consolidated income statement shows the operating story clearly. Revenue expanded meaningfully, but costs rose in a way that limited margin expansion. EBITDA rose to 78.70 crore, but the margin declined to 9.55 percent.
Reported PAT was 38.50 crore in FY26 versus 18.11 crore in FY25. The Managing Director explicitly noted that a one-time exceptional income of 21.58 crore supported profitability, and the consolidated income statement reflects exceptional items of 21.84 crore in FY26.
A look at Q4FY26 shows how this played out at the quarterly level. Consolidated revenue from operations in Q4FY26 was 289.31 crore compared with 194.99 crore in Q4FY25. EBITDA in Q4FY26 was 28.46 crore versus 20.21 crore, while PAT rose sharply to 30.41 crore. Q4FY26 also included exceptional items of 15.56 crore, which is visible in the quarter’s profitability.
Operations and footprint: plants, product breadth, and OEM engagement
Autoline positions itself as a technology-driven auto component manufacturer with a wide product portfolio across stamped assemblies, exhaust systems, pedal systems, hinges, and other mechanical sub-assemblies. The presentation states the company manufactures over 3,000 components for passenger cars, SUVs, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and tractors.
The operating footprint spans six manufacturing facilities across India: two units at Chakan (Pune, Maharashtra), Pantnagar (Uttarakhand), Dharwad (Karnataka), Hosur (Tamil Nadu), and Sanand (Gujarat). The company also highlights integrated design, engineering, and tool room capabilities. Its value chain description emphasizes early engagement with OEMs during vehicle R and D, prototyping and validation over approximately six to eight months, in-house tooling, fabrication through presses and robotic welding, and final assembly with in-house quality checks.
The business is described through four divisions: concept and engineering services, medium and large stamped assemblies, tool room, and mechanical assemblies. While the presentation outlines these divisions operationally, it does not provide revenue or profitability splits by segment.
Capital allocation, funding actions, and cash flow reality
Autoline’s recent expansion is linked to a capex cycle. The journey section states the company carried out a capex of 155 crore in FY25 and raised 65.72 crore in FY25, including promoter warrants, for capex, technology expansion, and working capital.
In January 2026, the company raised 24.49 crore through issuance of 32.65 lakh warrants to promoter Shivaji Akhade at 75 per warrant. Management also states that promoter convertible warrants of about 24.5 crore were issued to strengthen the capital base for future investments.
The balance sheet reflects a higher asset base after expansion. Consolidated PP and E increased to 319.02 crore in FY26 from 217.89 crore in FY25, while intangible assets under development stood at 21.05 crore. At the same time, the presentation shows that working capital expanded. Consolidated trade receivables increased to 185.98 crore from 126.71 crore, and inventories rose to 107.54 crore from 67.22 crore.
Cash flow is an area that stands out. Consolidated cash flow from operations fell to 9.56 crore in FY26 from 66.42 crore in FY25. Standalone operating cash flow also declined to 29.27 crore from 66.37 crore. Year-end cash and cash equivalents were minimal at 0.33 crore on a consolidated basis.
Finance costs increased as well. Consolidated finance cost rose to 40.01 crore in FY26 from 32.05 crore in FY25, which is a key line item investors may track alongside leverage and working capital requirements.
Corporate actions, ESG progress, and stated growth outlook
A notable corporate action is the proposed merger of Autoline Design Software Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, with Autoline Industries Limited. The Board approved a scheme of amalgamation, subject to regulatory and statutory approvals. Management expects this to simplify the corporate structure and strengthen integration across engineering and technology-driven capabilities.
The company also highlights ESG progress, especially on safety. For FY24-25, it reports a 96 percent reduction in lost-time injuries, with the lost-time injury rate declining from 5.2 to 0.2. On emissions reporting, the company states total GHG emissions of 50,428 tCO2e, with Scope 3 contributing 69 percent. It also mentions a net-zero emissions target by 2040.
On the forward view, management states confidence of delivering 20 to 25 percent CAGR growth over the coming years, supported by strong order visibility, ramp-up of strategic OEM programs, and increasing utilization at newly expanded capacities.
The FY26 picture therefore has clear positives on revenue expansion and a broader manufacturing platform, while also carrying specific points to monitor: margin movement, exceptional income impact on PAT, working capital intensity, and cash generation.
