UniHealth FY26: Profitability improves as capacity expands

For FY26, total income was 137.01 crore, EBITDA was 58.82 crore and profit attributable to equity shareholders was 25.83 crore.

In H2 FY26, total income was 67.45 crore, EBITDA was 24.20 crore and profit attributable to equity shareholders was 10.72 crore.

FY26 segment mix was Medical Centres and Hospitals 89.2%, Export and Distribution of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables 7.04%, Consultancy Services 3.76%, and Other Income 0%.

In H2 FY26, Uganda contributed 71.18% of revenue, India 21.84%, Nigeria 6.05%, with smaller contributions from Tanzania, Mauritius and UAE.

The presentation highlighted acquisition and commissioning of UMC Hospital in Entebbe adding 30 beds, commissioning of a hospital in Nerul, Navi Mumbai with 50 beds, and a plan to add 120 beds in Tanzania.

Management stated an FY27 target of revenue of 300+ crore and 500+ beds in India, and a target of 1,000 beds in the next 3 years under an asset-light model.

For FY26, the presentation reports debt to equity of 0.11 and interest coverage of 20.79 times, along with ROE of 22.96% and ROCE of 21.28%.
