Yatharth Hospital's Q3 FY26: A Quarter of Robust Growth and Strategic Expansion
Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services Limited has delivered an exceptional performance in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, marking its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profitability. The company reported a consolidated revenue of INR 320.5 crore, demonstrating a robust 46% year-on-year growth. This impressive top-line expansion translated into strong bottom-line results, with Profit After Tax (PAT) surging by 41% year-on-year to INR 43.1 crore. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) also saw a healthy increase of 35% year-on-year, reaching INR 74.2 crore, despite the initial ramp-up losses from newly operational facilities.
This stellar performance was primarily fueled by the sustained growth of existing hospitals and the rapid scale-up of new facilities. The company's strategic focus on high-value super specialties and an improved payer mix, leaning towards cash and private insurance patients, has been instrumental in driving these results. The management's disciplined execution and commitment to clinical excellence continue to position Yatharth as a leading healthcare provider in North India.
Strategic Expansion and Operational Excellence
A significant driver of growth in Q3 FY26 was the successful ramp-up of the newly operational New Delhi and Faridabad Sector-20 hospitals. In their first full quarter of operations, these facilities collectively generated INR 27.9 crore in revenue, contributing 9% to the Group's total revenues. Faridabad Sector-20 quickly achieved a monthly revenue run rate of INR 7-8 crore, while New Delhi reached close to INR 5 crore. Crucially, these new hospitals derived 100% of their revenues from cash and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) insurances, reflecting Yatharth's strategic emphasis on a favorable payer mix from inception.
The company's Average Revenue Per Occupied Bed (ARPOB) increased by 10% year-on-year to INR 33,744, driven by a continued focus on high-value super specialties and investments in state-of-the-art medical infrastructure. Noida Extension, a key facility, recorded its highest-ever ARPOB of approximately INR 44,000, a 16% year-on-year increase, with about 70% contribution from super-specialty services, including 18% from oncology. Even the new hospitals demonstrated strong initial ARPOB, with New Delhi at INR 40,000 and Faridabad Sector-20 at INR 36,000, both higher than the group average.
Occupancy across the hospital network remained healthy at 67% during the quarter. Noida operated at 91% occupancy, Greater Noida at 74%, Noida Extension at 61%, and Jhansi-Orchha at 72%. The newly acquired Agra hospital, which was fully integrated into the Yatharth network effective February 1, 2026, is expected to contribute meaningfully to revenue and EBITDA from day one, further bolstering the company's presence in Uttar Pradesh.
Strengthening Governance and Future Outlook
Yatharth Hospital is also committed to strengthening its governance framework. Key appointments during the quarter include MSKA & Associates as statutory auditors, Mr. Ramesh Krishnan as an Independent Director, and Deloitte as an internal auditor. The company has also institutionalized its management bandwidth with new key roles, ensuring robust leadership for future growth.
Looking ahead, Yatharth is confident in sustaining its accelerated growth momentum. The company plans to add approximately 3,000 beds in the next 3 to 4 years, aiming for a total capacity of 5,000 to 6,000 beds. This expansion will involve a mix of greenfield, brownfield, and asset-light models, with a total capex plan of INR 1,500 crore. The company is also strategically positioned to capitalize on medical value travel opportunities, especially with the upcoming Jewar Airport, and is expanding its international outreach.
Management expects consolidated EBITDA margins to improve in the coming quarters as the initial ramp-up losses from new hospitals subside. The contribution from high-value specialties like oncology is projected to reach around 15% within 1.5 to 2 years. Furthermore, the company is actively working to reduce its receivable days, targeting less than 110 days by March 2027. Yatharth Hospital's Q3 FY26 results underscore its strategic clarity, disciplined execution, and strong potential for sustained value creation for all stakeholders.
