Arham Technologies in FY26: Fast Growth, Brand-Building, and a Push Into Institutional Displays
Ask Iris
Arham Technologies Limited closed FY26 with a sharp step-up in scale. Revenue from operations rose to 118.57 crore in FY26 from 69.89 crore in FY25. The second half was even stronger on topline momentum, with H2FY26 revenue from operations at 72.94 crore, up 94.74 percent year on year.
Profitability expanded in absolute terms. FY26 EBITDA stood at 19.03 crore and profit after tax from operations at 12.20 crore. But the period also showed a clear margin story that management addressed on the earnings call. H2FY26 EBITDA margin was 14.50 percent compared with 20.13 percent in H2FY25, even as revenue nearly doubled. Management attributed this to inventory-cost normalization after a volatile period, and to a strategic decision to pass on some margin to strengthen dealer and distributor onboarding.
The investor presentation frames the company as an integrated manufacturer and OEM with two in-house brands, STARSHINE positioned as premium and ARATTON positioned as mass market. The company manufactures smart LED televisions, fans, and select home appliances such as air coolers, washing machines, and mixer grinders, while expanding into interactive flat panel displays for institutional and enterprise markets.
FY26 performance in numbers
The reported financials provided in the presentation cover H2FY26 and the full year, along with year-on-year comparisons.
On the balance sheet, the company reported lower borrowings and a bigger asset base by March 2026. Borrowings reduced to 8.20 crore from 26.00 crore in March 2025, while fixed assets increased to 34.88 crore from 7.90 crore.
What drove growth: distribution-led expansion and a changing mix
Arham’s core go-to-market narrative is anchored in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, backed by an offline dealer network. The presentation cites 500 plus dealers across 10 plus states. On the earnings call, management added that the company has close to 80 distributors in FY26, up from about 70 in the prior year, and that it has added around 20 large direct dealers.
A key disclosure from the call was the product mix for FY26. Management stated that the mix shifted from being heavily TV-led toward a broader contribution from fans and cooling products.
This shift matters because the company has positioned fans as a higher-margin category versus traditional electronics, and has described air coolers as a seasonal demand lever that can be scaled with more in-house manufacturing.
Capital deployment: fundraise, land bank, and backward integration
A central element in the FY26 narrative is the capital raised and how it is being used.
The company raised 53.5 crore through a preferential issue, described in the presentation as growth capital for capacity, branding, and working capital. On the earnings call, management stated that about 50 percent, roughly 26 to 27 crore, has already been deployed, and the remaining will be deployed in the next financial year. Management also said that about 12 crore of warrants are under process, with over a year available to fulfill warrant commitments.
A second structural move is land acquisition for expansion at the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster in Raipur. The company disclosed it acquired 6,350 square meters at a subsidized cost of 52.39 lakh, versus a stated market value of 4.31 crore. Management linked this land to backward integration into injection molding, sheet metal, motors, and packaging. During Q and A, management stated that production at the newer facility is targeted to start by January and that the planned investment is close to 40 crore.
The strategic aim, repeated in the presentation, is to reduce vendor dependence and improve margins through a more integrated manufacturing stack. The deck explicitly contrasts an earlier setup where design, tooling, and fabrication were outsourced, versus a current model where design, tooling, and fabrication are in-house or expanding. Management also suggested that some of the margin benefits will be passed on to distributors to strengthen channel relationships.
The IFPD bet: certification, commissioning, and government opportunity
Arham’s expansion into interactive flat panel displays is a clear attempt to build a higher-value B2B line alongside the consumer portfolio. The company stated it has secured Google EDLA certification with Android 14 for its IFPD displays.
On the call, management said the plant and machinery for IFPDs had been installed and that the facility was in final trials, expected to be operational in two to three weeks. In another response, management mentioned 10 to 15 days, pointing to near-term commissioning.
The presentation positions IFPDs as a policy-backed growth category. It cites low penetration of smart classrooms, a large school base, and government programs such as Samagra Shiksha, while also referencing a 400 crore plus budget for digital classrooms in Chhattisgarh. On the call, management said it has received positive signals from the Chhattisgarh government and that one investor is also trying for opportunities in Maharashtra. However, management also stated the tender quantum and structure are not known, since procurement may occur through a large single tender or multiple fragmented tenders.
Brand-building: celebrity endorsement, marketing spend, and retail ambition
The company’s most visible branding step is the appointment of actor Vicky Kaushal as brand ambassador for STARSHINE. Management described this as a forward-looking investment aligned with the company’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 focus and noted early inbound interest from potential distributors after the endorsement announcement.
Management also gave specific marketing spend guidance. It expects marketing spend of about 7.5 crore in FY27 and about 5 to 6 crore in FY28. The stated logic is that FY27 carries higher costs due to celebrity onboarding and campaign work, while spends can reduce later as brand recall builds.
A related strategic push is large format retail. The presentation cites intended tie-ups with chains such as Croma and Vijay Sales. On the call, management explained that large format retailers often focus on their own private labels because margins are higher, and that external brands need fast sell-through and low inventory shelf life. Management indicated it plans to approach these retailers again after the advertising campaign improves brand visibility.
Guidance and what to track in FY27
The clearest forward guidance from the earnings call was a FY27 revenue target. Management stated it is targeting to cross 200 crore in FY27.
Operationally, management also discussed working capital discipline. It stated FY26 average debtor days were approximately 113 days and that it would like to maintain debtor days below 90 going forward. Management explained that receivables appeared higher in March due to seasonality and sales timing, and that collections were already progressing after March.
On capacity utilization, management indicated a progression from about 30 percent in the past toward about 50 percent and guided toward crossing 75 percent utilization by FY28 on current capacity, while noting that newly added capacity would be incremental.
Takeaways
Arham’s FY26 performance was defined by rapid scale-up in revenue, improved absolute profitability, and a stronger balance sheet with lower borrowings. The second half highlighted margin sensitivity, which management tied to inventory cost cycles and deliberate channel expansion.
The next phase is shaped by execution. Commissioning of IFPD manufacturing, delivery of backward integration projects, and disciplined working capital management are the operating levers. On the growth side, the combination of deeper distribution, a higher marketing budget in FY27, and attempts to enter large format retail will influence how quickly STARSHINE can evolve from a regional strength to a broader mass-premium presence.
The company has stated a FY27 revenue goal of crossing 200 crore. Whether it can reach that while stabilizing margins and keeping debtor days closer to its below-90 target will be the core operating test of the strategy outlined in the June 2026 investor presentation and the FY26 earnings call.
