The consolidated results also included Rs 8.34 lakh as the group’s share of profit after tax from one unreviewed associate.

Captain Technocast reported one business segment, manufacturing and selling castings, and therefore stated that Accounting Standard 17 segment reporting was not applicable.
Conclusion
Captain Technocast remained profitable in the half year ended 30 September 2026, but lower revenue reduced profit before tax by Rs 1.49 crore and profit after minority-interest adjustment by Rs 1.19 crore from the prior-year half. The next disclosed matter to watch is how the 1 April 2026 disinvestment of Vartis Engineering Private Limited affects future consolidated comparisons. Subsequent filings will also show whether trade receivables of Rs 35.05 crore and inventories of Rs 16.25 crore at 30 September 2026 convert into operating cash.
