When does Tanridagli become KWIL’s MD and CEO?
KWIL has appointed Tanridagli as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from November 1, 2026 until October 31, 2029. Its board approved the three-consecutive-year term on October 30, 2026, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, subject to shareholder approval and other statutory approvals that may apply.
The appointment puts an existing KWIL board member in charge of all aspects of managing and developing the India business. KWIL said Tanridagli will focus on operational performance in its next phase of growth after the ice cream business was demerged from Hindustan Unilever Limited. The October 30 filing does not disclose the date or format of the shareholder approval process.
What experience does Tanridagli bring to KWIL?
Tanridagli brings more than two decades of experience in snacking and fast-moving consumer goods, or FMCG, according to KWIL’s October 30 announcement. His experience covers food, desserts, coffee and tea beverages, salted snacks, chocolate and ice cream, with leadership positions at Kraft Foods-Mondelez and Unilever across multiple geographies.
Most recently, Tanridagli was General Manager of Unilever Ice Cream, overseeing the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Russia. During his 12-year tenure at Unilever, he also served as Vice President of Marketing for the Foods and Refreshment category across the Middle East, Africa and Russia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
KWIL said Tanridagli is based in India and had played an instrumental role in its transformation after the demerger. His new remit covers the company’s India operations, while his experience spans food and refreshment categories beyond ice cream. The filing also states that none of KWIL’s directors is inter-se related to him.
How will Tanridagli’s TMICC role work alongside his KWIL job?
Tanridagli will continue as President of the METSA region, comprising the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Israel and South Asia, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, or TMICC. KWIL said his regional work will provide strategic direction at group level, while his operational role will be confined to KWIL in India.
This arrangement links the India leadership appointment with KWIL’s controlling shareholder. The Magnum Ice Cream Company HoldCo 1 Netherlands B.V., or TMICC HoldCo, owns 61.91% of KWIL after acquiring a controlling stake under a share purchase agreement signed between Unilever and TMICC in June 2025.
The announcement distinguishes the two mandates by geography and function. Tanridagli’s KWIL position covers operating and developing the India business, whereas his METSA role covers five regional areas and strategic direction. KWIL did not disclose how his time will be allocated between the India role and the regional responsibilities.

What other management changes start on November 1?
KWIL will appoint Ansu Archana as Head of Supply Chain, India and as senior management personnel from November 1, 2026. She will take over after Vivek Sarbhai ceases to be Head of Supply Chain, India and senior management personnel on October 31, 2026 because of a change in designation within KWIL.
Archana has more than 15 years of supply-chain and procurement experience across multinational organisations, according to KWIL. Her experience includes strategic sourcing, supplier ecosystem development, demand and supply planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, external manufacturing and business transformation. Since 2019, she has held senior leadership positions, including director-level roles in Unilever’s supply-chain organisation across South Asia and global markets.
KWIL said Archana currently oversees a procurement portfolio exceeding €2 billion and leads regional teams across multiple geographies. Her experience extends across Europe, Latin America, South Asia, India and Brazil, and she also played a role in the demerger that created KWIL. The succession pairs a new India supply-chain head with the incoming MD and CEO on the same November 1 effective date.
What disclosures apply to Tanridagli’s appointment?
KWIL said Tanridagli is not debarred from holding the office of director under any order of the Securities and Exchange Board of India, or SEBI, or another authority. The company reported his Director Identification Number as 11164403 and confirmed that none of its directors is inter-se related to him.
The board meeting that approved the personnel changes began at 6:07 pm Indian Standard Time on October 30, 2026 and concluded at 6:29 pm. The board considered three actions in that 22-minute meeting: Tanridagli’s MD and CEO appointment, Sarbhai’s cessation in his current supply-chain and senior-management roles, and Archana’s appointment to those positions.
The filing was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, read with Schedule III. For Tanridagli, the appointment remains conditional on shareholder approval and applicable statutory approvals, while Archana’s appointment and Sarbhai’s designation change are effective on the stated October 31 and November 1 dates.
Conclusion
KWIL has selected a current board member with more than 20 years of FMCG experience to lead its India operations for three years beginning November 1, 2026. The appointment follows the demerger of the ice cream business from Hindustan Unilever Limited and places the India operating role alongside Tanridagli’s regional strategic position at TMICC, whose holding company owns 61.91% of KWIL.
The next disclosed matter to watch is shareholder approval, which remains a condition of Tanridagli’s appointment. The immediate management transition is scheduled for November 1, 2026, when Tanridagli begins as MD and CEO and Archana becomes Head of Supply Chain, India, following Sarbhai’s October 31 designation change.
