Archean Chemical Industries Limited is an India‑based specialty marine chemicals manufacturer producing industrial salt, liquid bromine, sulphate of potash (SOP) and bromine derivatives from integrated facilities at Hajipir with captive brine fields, port access and an R&D base; its products serve agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, flame retardants, water treatment and global industrial customers.

The company remains heavily export‑oriented with exports contributing nearly 79% of operating revenues; consolidated 9MFY26 revenues were INR8,016.7 million (≈10.6% YoY growth) while consolidated PAT fell to INR931.8 million due to operational disruptions in bromine, higher costs and lower derivatives utilisation, highlighting resilient sales but margin pressure in FY26.

Archean is undertaking strategic diversification into advanced materials and energy: it has invested in Clas‑SiC Wafer Fab and formed SiCSem to build India’s first commercial SiC compound fab, and acquired a significant stake in Offgrid Energy Labs to commercialize zinc‑bromide batteries, signalling a deliberate strategic pivot beyond marine chemicals.

Operationally the company presents a mixed picture: industrial salt volumes surged about 39% to 3.07 million tons in 9MFY26, bromine volumes fell on technical issues but management has launched corrective projects, Acume derivatives capacity utilisation is currently low but management targets a ramp to ~60%–70% and SOP plant trials are moving from pilot to plant scale.
