NTC Industries Ltd, formerly known as RDB Industries, is engaged in real estate development and the manufacture of cigarettes.

Originally incorporated as R D Builders and Developers, it changed to its current name in 1994 and took over the New Tobacco Company's assets in a lease agreement.

The company went public in 1994 to support its long-term working capital, starting commercial cigarette production that same year in Calcutta.

In 2003, NTC Industries partnered with Sampoorna Asia Pte Ltd to import and distribute exclusive cigarette brands in India.

The company's real estate business was demerged in 2010, forming RDB Realty & Infrastructure Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary.
