Net interest income, or NII, rose 9.0% year on year to Rs 13,026 crore, while non-interest income increased 95.8% to Rs 6,881 crore. Operating profit consequently rose to Rs 11,430 crore from Rs 7,576 crore in Q2FY26, while total provisions were Rs 2,382 crore against Rs 6,323 crore in Q1FY27.

Other provisions alone were Rs 6,073 crore for the half year, versus Rs 57 crore a year earlier, and profit before tax fell 14.0% to Rs 10,852 crore.
