Why did Beezaasan Explotech change its IPO spending plan?
Beezaasan Explotech changed its IPO spending plan because of regulatory complexities and delays affecting parts of its expansion project. The company amended the object clause to replace the proposed Emulsion Bulk Explosives-3 and bulk explosives plants with detonator plants under both Object 1 and Object 2.
The change applies to capital expenditure at Beezaasan Explotech's existing manufacturing facilities. In its September 30, 2026 results, the company identified one reportable segment under Accounting Standard 17: manufacturing slurry and emulsion explosives and detonating fuse. The filing does not identify a new reportable segment arising from the revised detonator-plant plan.
Shareholders approved the modification through a special resolution at the annual general meeting held on September 17, 2026. Beezaasan Explotech's board approved the half-year results on November 6, 2026, and the statutory auditor completed a limited review of the standalone financial results for the half year ended September 30, 2026.
The IPO comprised 34.25 lakh equity shares issued at Rs 175 each, generating gross proceeds of Rs 59.93 crore. Beezaasan Explotech's shares were listed on the BSE SME platform on March 3, 2025, and net proceeds were initially stated at Rs 52.34 crore after issue expenses before a later Rs 1.52 lakh increase in those expenses.
How much IPO money did Beezaasan Explotech reallocate?
Beezaasan Explotech reallocated Rs 6.49 crore from plant and machinery expenditure under Object 2 and Rs 1.44 crore from commercial-vehicle purchases under Object 4. Together, the transfers totalled Rs 7.93 crore and increased the allocation for civil construction under Object 1.
The company said the modified allocations for Object 1 and Object 2 were Rs 11.80 crore and Rs 16.56 crore, respectively. Object 4, the commercial-vehicle purchase item, no longer had an allocation after the Rs 1.44 crore transfer. The filing does not disclose commissioning dates or capacity targets for the revised detonator plants.
The IPO-proceeds note describes Object 1 as civil construction for the revised detonator-plant and related expansion programme. Object 2 covers plant and machinery for the revised programme. The figures in the company’s utilisation schedule indicate that spending to September 30, 2026 remained below the modified allocations for both objects.
What approvals are delaying Beezaasan Explotech’s deployment?
Beezaasan Explotech said certain expansion components remain subject to legal formalities, approvals and permissions required under the Explosive Rules, 2008. It stated that funds for these components will be deployed when the required clearances are received, but it did not name the relevant authority, describe the stage of applications or give an expected approval date.
Pending those clearances, Beezaasan Explotech had temporarily parked Rs 20 crore in fixed deposit receipts, or FDRs. The company said the deposits would be used in line with the planned object of the issue, describing the placement as temporary rather than a change in the stated IPO purpose.
The company’s utilisation schedule reported Rs 34.01 crore utilised and Rs 18.29 crore unutilised as at September 30, 2026. It also presented a modified total allocation of Rs 52.12 crore, while a separate note said net proceeds had been revised from Rs 52.34 crore to Rs 52.32 crore after the Rs 1.52 lakh increase in share-issue expenses.
The Rs 20 crore FDR amount exceeds the Rs 18.29 crore unutilised amount shown in the utilisation schedule. Beezaasan Explotech did not provide a reconciliation between the FDR balance and the unutilised-proceeds figure, or identify how the deposit balance is split among the remaining IPO objects.

What has Beezaasan Explotech spent on its other IPO projects?
Beezaasan Explotech reported Rs 2.02 crore of utilisation against the Rs 2.03 crore allocation for Object 3, leaving Rs 8 lakh unutilised under that item. Object 3 concerns civil construction for additional magazine storage facilities related to the emulsion plant and a detonating-fuse storage facility at the company’s existing premises in Oran.
The original allocation for general corporate purposes was adjusted after share issue expenses rose by Rs 1.52 lakh from the amount planned in the offer document. Beezaasan Explotech said the increase reduced the general-corporate-purpose allocation from Rs 3.95 crore to Rs 3.93 crore during the half year ended March 31, 2025, with no further modification during the half year ended March 31, 2026.
The filing also recorded Rs 10.80 crore of utilisation for repayment or prepayment of borrowings. Beezaasan Explotech's IPO-proceeds schedule reported total original net proceeds of Rs 52.34 crore, before the subsequent adjustment for higher issue expenses, showing that the revised project allocations were part of a broader deployment plan rather than the entire use of proceeds.
What do Beezaasan Explotech’s latest financial results show?
Beezaasan Explotech reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 126.98 crore for the half year ended September 30, 2026, up from Rs 100.46 crore in the half year ended September 30, 2025. Standalone profit after tax, however, declined to Rs 7.42 crore from Rs 7.87 crore over the same comparison.
Total expenses rose by Rs 27.17 crore to Rs 117.74 crore in the September 2026 half year, compared with Rs 90.57 crore a year earlier. Employee-benefit expense increased to Rs 4.55 crore from Rs 1.41 crore, while depreciation and amortisation rose to Rs 1.86 crore from Rs 1.41 crore.
Standalone capital work-in-progress stood at Rs 4.66 crore on September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 3 crore on March 31, 2026. Fixed assets increased to Rs 52.46 crore from Rs 49.66 crore over the same six-month period, while operating cash generation was Rs 2.99 crore in the September 2026 half year against Rs 4.22 crore in the prior-year half.
Conclusion
Beezaasan Explotech has retained an expansion-led use for IPO proceeds while changing the equipment and facilities proposed for funding. The Rs 7.93 crore reallocation directs money to civil construction, and the revised objects replace bulk-explosives plants with detonator plants amid regulatory delays.
The next disclosed trigger is receipt of approvals and permissions under the Explosive Rules, 2008. Beezaasan Explotech says those clearances will allow deployment of the Rs 20 crore held temporarily in FDRs, while later utilisation disclosures may clarify the relationship between the deposit balance and the reported Rs 18.29 crore unutilised proceeds.
