The amount was unchanged from June 30, 2026 and relates to payments required under a resolution plan approved by the National Company Law Tribunal, or NCLT, on April 19, 2018.
Kailash Chand Jain & Co. highlighted the payment issue as an emphasis of matter in its limited review report dated November 5, 2026. The auditor said its conclusion was not qualified in respect of that matter and stated that nothing had come to its attention to suggest the unaudited results did not disclose information required under the listing regulations.
The review was conducted under Standard on Review Engagements 2410, which the auditor said provides moderate assurance through enquiries and analytical procedures. The auditor also said a limited review is substantially narrower than an audit and therefore does not provide assurance that all significant matters that could be identified in an audit would be identified.
Conclusion
Raj Consumer Care delivered sequential growth in the September 2026 quarter, with revenue rising to Rs 44.42 crore and profit after tax reaching Rs 1.40 crore. Compared with the September 2025 quarter, higher sales and a rise in profit before tax were offset at the profit-after-tax level by a shift from a Rs 2.74 lakh tax credit to Rs 48.04 lakh of tax expense.
The next results will show whether revenue growth and the quarter-on-quarter increase in profit before tax continue beyond the half-year revenue total of Rs 79.97 crore. Investors can also watch for progress on the Rs 52.98 lakh payment difficulty involving unsecured operational creditors and public fixed deposits under the NCLT-approved resolution plan.
