Q2 FY27 results at a glance
Supreme Industries Limited has reported higher consolidated revenue and profit for the quarter ended 30 September 2026. The company announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated results after a board meeting held on 26 October 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹3,361.27 crore in Q2 FY27, from ₹2,393.87 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier. Consolidated profit after tax stood at ₹262.44 crore, compared with ₹164.74 crore in Q2 FY26. This represents year-on-year growth of 40.4% in revenue from operations and 59.3% in profit after tax. The board also approved an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share for FY27.
Profit growth outpaced revenue growth
The quarter showed profit growth ahead of the increase in revenue. Consolidated profit after tax increased by ₹97.70 crore from the year-earlier quarter. The reported Q2 FY27 profit of ₹262.44 crore was also described as net profit before other comprehensive income. Revenue from operations increased by ₹967.40 crore on a year-on-year basis. Consolidated total income was ₹3,369.96 crore, up 39.87% from ₹2,409.41 crore in Q2 FY26. The difference between total income and revenue from operations reflects the company’s separately reported income measures. The results were unaudited and cover the quarter ended 30 September 2026.
Operating performance improved
Supreme Industries reported consolidated operating profit of ₹460.61 crore for the September quarter. This was 47.50% higher than ₹312.27 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the prior year. Separately reported earnings data placed EBITDA at about ₹430 crore, compared with about ₹297 crore a year earlier. EBITDA margin was reported at 12.8%, against 12.4% in Q2 FY26. These figures indicate improvement in operating profitability alongside the increase in sales. The company’s reported measures use different profit definitions, so operating profit and EBITDA should not be treated as the same metric.
Key Q2 FY27 financial data
Value-added product sales increased
Turnover from value-added products rose 38% year on year during the quarter. Such turnover reached ₹1,476 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹1,072 crore in Q2 FY26. The increase of ₹404 crore contributed to the company’s overall sales expansion. Value-added products accounted for a substantial portion of quarterly turnover based on the reported figures. The company did not provide a separate profit figure for this category in the information released. Its growth was reported alongside higher revenue from operations and operating profit.
Piping products led reported segment sales
Plastics piping products were the largest reported business segment in the September quarter. Revenue from this segment was ₹2,273.79 crore. Packaging products followed with ₹481.08 crore, while industrial products recorded ₹420.09 crore. These figures point to the central role of piping products in the company’s reported quarterly business mix. The company said demand in its core plastics piping business supported revenue growth. It also lowered its FY27 plastic piping volume growth forecast to 10% from its earlier guidance of 15% to 17%.
Half-year revenue and profit
For the half year ended 30 September 2026, Supreme Industries reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹6,078.93 crore. Consolidated profit after tax for the first half was ₹543.16 crore. The half-year disclosures add context to the September-quarter performance and show the scale of business completed during the first six months of FY27. The company also reported a net cash surplus of ₹685 crore as of 30 September 2026. This compared with a net cash surplus of ₹648 crore as of 31 March 2026. The surplus therefore increased by ₹37 crore over the six-month period.
Interim dividend approved
The board declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share for FY27. The dividend represents 600% of the ₹2 face value per equity share. The record date has been fixed as 30 October 2026. Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members on that date will be eligible for the dividend. The company has stated that the dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders, though no payment date was included in the released information. The ₹12 per share interim dividend is the same payout level cited for the prior fiscal year’s second-quarter declaration.
What the results mean for investors
The results combine higher sales, stronger reported profitability, improved EBITDA margin and a larger net cash surplus. Revenue growth was supported by plastics piping demand and a rise in value-added product turnover. The revised 10% plastic piping volume growth guidance is an important operating update because piping is the company’s largest reported segment. Investors will also track the dividend record date of 30 October 2026 and subsequent payment details from the company. Further disclosures on segment performance, demand conditions and the company’s FY27 outlook will remain relevant after the unaudited Q2 and H1 results announcement.
