How did TechD perform in the first half of FY27?
TechD delivered higher revenue, EBITDA and profit in H1 FY27, with standalone total income rising 115.7% to ₹39.43 crore from ₹18.28 crore in H1 FY26. Revenue from operations increased to ₹38.90 crore from ₹18.18 crore, while profit before tax increased 48.7% to ₹12.64 crore from ₹8.50 crore.
The pace of profit growth was lower than revenue growth during the April-September 2026 period. EBITDA, or earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, increased 45.9% to ₹13.12 crore from ₹8.99 crore, and PAT increased 50.8% to ₹9.60 crore from ₹6.37 crore. Earnings per share, not annualised, rose 12.0% to ₹12.84 from ₹11.46.
What do TechD's consolidated results and cash position show?
TechD reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹39.05 crore, EBITDA of ₹13.21 crore and PAT of ₹9.67 crore for H1 FY27. The consolidated figures include four subsidiaries incorporated during the half year, in India, Canada, GIFT City and Mauritius, and were reported for the first time alongside standalone results.
TechD said it remained debt-free at September 30, 2026, with cash and bank balances of ₹30.78 crore. TechD invested ₹11.16 crore during the half year in the Cyber Valley campus and platform development, while standalone net worth was ₹81.04 crore at period end, compared with ₹71.82 crore at March 31, 2026, an increase of 12.8%.
Why does TechD say first-half revenue represents 75% of FY26?
TechD said its ₹38.90 crore of H1 FY27 revenue equalled 75% of the revenue it generated in the whole of FY26. TechD said FY26 revenue had grown 76%, making the latest first-half result a substantial proportion of the preceding full-year revenue base.
Management cautioned that the business has historically had a seasonal revenue and margin pattern. According to TechD, the first half has generally contributed a smaller share of annual revenue at higher margins, while the second half has carried more revenue at lower margins because of the structure of original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, and large-customer contracts. TechD is working to spread revenue and margins more evenly across quarters and asked investors to assess performance on a full-year basis until that process is complete.

What is driving TechD's revenue growth?
TechD attributed the 114% revenue increase mainly to its managed security services business, which operates security functions for more than 200 security operations centre, or SOC, customers. Its customers span banking, government, manufacturing and enterprise sectors, and TechD said this legacy managed security services provider business was the principal contributor to first-half growth.
TechD also identified TechD One, its artificial intelligence-native security platform, as its second growth engine. TechD said the platform is gaining enterprise adoption in India and overseas, with 30 modules on its roadmap and three to four modules scheduled for launch in H2 FY27. TechD was founded in 2017 as a vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, or VAPT, firm and now also serves more than 800 enterprise clients.
What is TechD planning through Cyber Valley and overseas subsidiaries?
TechD said construction of its 60,000 square foot Cyber Valley facility in Ahmedabad was nearing completion as of November 6, 2026, with final fit-out under way and an inauguration expected shortly. The campus is planned to include an information technology SOC, an operational technology SOC, a Vehicle SOC, a service delivery centre and a product-development unit.
Management intends to use Cyber Valley for customer, regulator and partner engagement, including through what TechD says will be the country's largest cybersecurity experience centre and SOC floor. Separately, TechD said its Middle East, Africa and North America business was gaining traction, and that its Canada, Mauritius and GIFT City subsidiaries would bring sharper focus to overseas expansion and revenue. Its disclosed order book was above ₹75 crore, of which ₹38 crore had already been executed.
Conclusion
TechD's H1 FY27 results show revenue rising faster than EBITDA and PAT: standalone revenue increased 114.0% to ₹38.90 crore, compared with EBITDA growth of 45.9% and PAT growth of 50.8%. The first reporting period to include consolidated results added ₹15 lakh to revenue and ₹7 lakh to PAT relative to the standalone figures, while TechD reported ₹30.78 crore of cash and bank balances after ₹11.16 crore of investment.
The next disclosed milestones are the expected Cyber Valley inauguration and the planned launch of three to four TechD One modules in H2 FY27. Management also said it was normalising contract structures to distribute revenue and margins more evenly across quarters, while an order book above ₹75 crore, including ₹38 crore executed, remains subject to contract-execution timing and the other risks identified by TechD.
