What is AIL’s growth plan?
AIL’s plan combines further share gains in its core surveillance business, a portfolio spanning premium to entry-level buyers, expanded domestic manufacturing and export entry through original design manufacturer, or ODM, partnerships. The company identifies these as its four growth levers and lists owned firmware, multi-system-on-chip designs and BLUE video-compression technology as supporting enablers.
AIL reported market share of about 42% for the 12 months to September 2026, compared with 30% at its initial public offering. The company attributes the increase to security certification, distribution and brand strength. Its estimate puts the Indian surveillance market at Rs 15,000 crore in FY27 and Rs 26,000 crore by FY30, representing an estimated compound annual growth rate of about 20%.
The regulatory reset is part of AIL’s stated core-market opportunity. Security rules were notified in April 2024, original equipment manufacturers could sell only certified cameras from April 2025, and the sell-off of uncertified cameras is due to end in March 2026. AIL says it has more than 100 CP PLUS models certified and operates in-house plants with 2.5 million units of monthly capacity.
How will AIL use four surveillance brands?
AIL will use CP PLUS PRO SERIES for premium enterprise customers, CP PLUS for mid-to-mainstream buyers, NEXIVUE for entry-to-mid-market commercial buyers and EYRA for value and entry-level demand. The portfolio is intended to address both the approximately 10% premium enterprise segment and lower-priced demand currently served by unorganised and grey-market suppliers.
AIL plans to roll out CP PLUS PRO SERIES in Q4 FY27. The company positions its pan-tilt-zoom, thermal and 4K products for the premium enterprise segment, while EYRA is intended to offer certified entry-level cameras. The portfolio page uses the name NEXIVUE, although the growth-levers page refers to the same entry-to-mid-market brand as NEXIVIEW.
The four-brand approach differs by customer and price point rather than replacing CP PLUS, which remains AIL’s mid-to-mainstream brand. CP PLUS PRO SERIES is positioned above it for enterprise applications, while NEXIVUE and EYRA extend below it. AIL has not disclosed revenue targets, launch dates or expected margins for NEXIVUE and EYRA.
How much manufacturing capacity will AIL add?
AIL plans manufacturing capacity of more than twice its current 2.5 million units a month through Kadapa Phase III and a Greater Noida plant. The existing Kadapa facility in Andhra Pradesh was operating at approximately 80% utilisation when the presentation was issued, establishing the base for the planned expansion.
The company will pair new capacity with localisation across four component categories: lenses, cables, housings and enclosures, and Internet of Things, or IoT, modules and printed circuit boards. AIL says localisation is intended to lift margins, but it does not give a manufacturing-margin target or commissioning date for Kadapa Phase III or Greater Noida.
AIL’s Rs 1,500 crore QIP is the disclosed funding source for the next phase. Of Rs 1,465.5 crore in net proceeds, Rs 650 crore is allocated to capital expenditure through AIL Dixon for Kadapa Phase III and the Knowledge Park plant. The placement also allocates Rs 325 crore to repayment or prepayment of borrowings and Rs 490.5 crore to acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

When will AIL enter exports and what technology supports it?
AIL expects to enter exports in about 18 months through ODM partnerships. The presentation does not name export markets, ODM partners, products, investment requirements or revenue targets, so the disclosed timing is an entry objective rather than quantified export guidance.
Technology is presented as an enabler for both the domestic portfolio and export plans. On 5 November 2026, AIL signed agreements to invest Rs 45.4 crore for a 30% fully diluted stake in BLUE, or KGraph AI Solutions. The transaction values BLUE at Rs 118 crore before the investment and Rs 151 crore after it, and remains subject to customary conditions.
BLUE’s technology adds a perception-aware layer to H.264 video compression, designed to remove information such as static backgrounds, lighting flicker and noise. BLUE says this can reduce storage and bandwidth use by up to 90% and run on modest existing hardware without a graphics processing unit. AIL says it could reduce storage costs in network video recorders and CP PLUS cloud services, while supporting a recurring software layer and artificial-intelligence analytics add-ons.
BLUE has six co-founders, each with 15 to more than 20 years of experience, and reports 10 patents, comprising three filed and seven in progress. AIL will hold one board seat and one observer seat after completion. The company has not provided a revenue contribution forecast or integration timetable for BLUE’s compression technology.
What does management’s FY27 guidance indicate?
Management raised AIL’s FY27 revenue guidance to Rs 6,500 crore to Rs 6,800 crore, from Rs 6,000 crore to Rs 6,500 crore previously. The revised range implies growth of 54% to 61%, compared with earlier guidance of 42% to 54%, after H1 FY27 growth of 90%.
Management said the H1 growth rate reflected a low H1 FY26 base, when security-certification backlogs constrained supply, and that H2 growth would moderate. It maintained earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation margin guidance at 14% to 15%, saying AIL would moderate price increases and absorb part of system-on-chip, DDR memory and flash-cost inflation to pursue market share.
Management raised profit-after-tax margin guidance to 9% to 10% from 8.5% to 9.5%. It attributed the change to lower finance costs as QIP proceeds are used to repay debt. AIL also reported Rs 1,071 crore of net cash, while identifying capacity expansion and inorganic growth as uses of the strengthened balance sheet.
Conclusion
AIL’s plan joins a wider product range, more than doubled planned manufacturing capacity, component localisation and export entry around its reported 42% market share in the 12 months to September 2026. The company is targeting premium enterprise demand through CP PLUS PRO SERIES while using NEXIVUE and EYRA to reach commercial, value and entry-level segments alongside the established CP PLUS brand.
The next disclosed milestones are the Q4 FY27 rollout of CP PLUS PRO SERIES, progress on Kadapa Phase III and Greater Noida capacity, and the planned export entry in about 18 months. Investors can also watch for details on commissioning schedules, ODM partnerships and markets, completion of the BLUE investment, and whether the company standardises the NEXIVUE and NEXIVIEW brand naming used in the presentation.
