Anupam Rasayan India Limited has assembled an integrated platform from fluorine raw materials to finished drug formulations, led by its 50.07% controlling stake in Bliss GVS Pharma and Tanfac’s FY26 revenue of Rs 711 crore. Anupam Rasayan also added US production through Jayhawk Fine Chemicals, which began contributing revenue on 27 February 2026.

How has Anupam Rasayan reshaped its manufacturing chain?
Anupam Rasayan’s stated model connects Tanfac’s hydrofluoric acid, or HF, and potassium fluoride, or KF, production with its own advanced intermediates, Jayhawk’s fine-chemical synthesis and Bliss GVS’s pharmaceutical formulations. Before these additions, its operating profile listed more than 70 products, six plants and more than 70 customers across agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, personal care and performance materials from 1984 onward.
The added businesses broaden the platform at different points in the chain. Tanfac, acquired in 2022, lists more than 12 products, one plant and more than 105 customers; Jayhawk lists more than 20 products, one plant and more than 50 customers; and Bliss GVS lists more than 150 products, six plants and more than 350 customers. The group’s scope therefore extends from chemical intermediates towards raw-material control, specialty synthesis and finished dosage forms.
The manufacturing footprint totals 14 facilities, including four plants in Sachin and two in Jhagadia, Gujarat; one in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu; six in Maharashtra; and one in Kansas, US. The presentation also lists five research and development centres, including Cuddalore, Kansas and Mumbai, alongside specialty-chemical installed capacity of more than 2,00,000 metric tonnes and pharmaceutical-formulation capacity of more than 4,800 million units.
What does Tanfac add to Anupam Rasayan’s fluorine platform?
Tanfac gives Anupam Rasayan access to HF and KF, which it identifies as critical inputs for fluorination chemistry. Anupam Rasayan acquired management control in May 2022, when Tanfac had a market capitalisation of Rs 595 crore, with stated objectives of reducing import dependence, supporting future fluorinated-product expansion and increasing existing capacity through process improvement and debottlenecking.
Tanfac’s revenue increased from Rs 320 crore in FY22 to Rs 711 crore in FY26, while FY25 recorded the largest year-on-year increase in the displayed series. The presentation describes the FY22-to-FY26 change as 2.5 times growth and identifies Tanfac as one of India’s largest HF facilities, supporting value-added fluoride derivatives and potential downstream expansion.
Tanfac’s end uses include refrigerants, glass etching, solar cells and steel surfacing, while the presentation identifies fluorocarbons and refrigerant gas, lithium batteries, electronic grades and fluorinated organic products as applications. This input position is intended to complement Anupam Rasayan’s fluorinated-intermediate manufacturing rather than replace that activity.

How does Jayhawk expand Anupam Rasayan in the US?
Jayhawk Fine Chemicals gives Anupam Rasayan a Kansas-based US manufacturing site and a platform it describes as an opportunity to expand its contract development and manufacturing organisation, or CDMO, business. Jayhawk began contributing revenue on 27 February 2026, and its FY26 business mix was approximately 65% performance materials and 35% life or crop-science molecules.
The company, founded in 1941, reported FY26 revenue of about US$76 million and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, or EBITDA, of about US$15 million, equal to an approximately 19% margin. It employs about 140 full-time employees, with most in operations, and occupies roughly 800 acres in the US, of which the presentation says less than 10% is utilised. That land-use figure underpins management’s stated expansion headroom.
Anupam Rasayan says Jayhawk provides access to performance polymers, polyimides, semiconductors, automotive and electric-vehicle applications, aviation and electronics. Its proposed integration mechanism is dual-site production, pairing Jayhawk’s high-purity technology with Anupam Rasayan’s backward-integrated capabilities to support faster scale-up. The acquisition also moves the group beyond agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals into performance materials.
What does Bliss GVS contribute to finished formulations?
Bliss GVS moves Anupam Rasayan into branded finished pharmaceutical formulations through a 50.07% controlling stake. The acquisition is funded through a Rs 300 crore term loan and a Rs 1,450 crore non-controlling, non-voting instrument, totalling Rs 1,750 crore across the two disclosed instruments. Bliss GVS began contributing revenue on 28 September 2026.
Bliss GVS operates at 30% capacity utilisation across six facilities in Palghar, Vevoor and Ambernath, Maharashtra. It has more than 150 brands, more than 16 dosage forms, more than 50 therapeutic segments, more than 1,000 employees and more than 80 scientists. Its formulations cover anti-malarial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-diabetic, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory, urology and contraceptive categories, among others.
Its formulation capacity is listed as 728 million units at Palghar, 3,974 million units at Vevoor and 90 million units at Ambernath. Bliss GVS holds more than 25 accreditations, including US Food and Drug Administration and European Union Good Manufacturing Practice certifications. Anupam Rasayan says strategic agreements in the US and Canada, alongside US FDA approval for the Palghar suppository unit, create revenue potential, rather than representing a reported financial outcome.
Conclusion
Together, Tanfac, Jayhawk and Bliss GVS form Anupam Rasayan’s stated vertical path from HF and KF inputs through fluorinated and other advanced intermediates to high-value end markets and finished dosage forms. The acquisitions add one Cuddalore raw-material site, one Kansas fine-chemical site and six Maharashtra formulation sites, while widening exposure to refrigerants, electronic chemicals, polymers, battery chemicals and pharmaceutical products.
The next operational measure is execution against Bliss GVS’s disclosed pipeline of more than 62 molecules over the next two years, including more than 48 aimed at regulated markets. Investors can track whether 30% formulation-capacity utilisation rises, how Jayhawk’s US site develops from less than 10% land utilisation, and the commercialisation of Anupam Rasayan’s FY27 and FY28 letters of intent and contracts.
