PCB segment result increased by Rs 0.04 crore year on year to Rs 1.92 crore from Rs 1.88 crore. BPL's brand-licensing fee segment reported a Rs 1.16 crore loss in the six months ended 30 September 2026, following a Rs 0.81 crore profit in the six months ended 30 September 2025. The filing does not identify a specific cost, customer, contract or other operational cause for the reversal, so the reported figures show the outcome rather than its source.
Brand-licensing fee revenue declined by Rs 3.32 crore to Rs 5.86 crore from Rs 9.18 crore in the prior-year half. This was the opposite of the PCB trend, which added Rs 9.82 crore of revenue over the same comparison. Brand licensing was the smaller of the two reported business segments in both half-year periods.
The first-half loss was concentrated in the September 2026 quarter. Brand-licensing fee revenue was Rs 2.93 crore, broadly unchanged from Rs 2.94 crore in the June 2026 quarter, but the segment result moved to a Rs 1.24 crore loss from a Rs 0.08 crore profit.
