What measurable AI outcomes did Digitide disclose?
Digitide disclosed outcomes including 10 times faster underwriting for a global specialty insurer, 60% faster claims-audit cycles for a US specialty insurer and more than 95% topic accuracy for a US property insurer. The presentation does not assign revenue amounts to individual client engagements.
For the global specialty insurer, agentic bots process data from 45 managing general agents, or MGAs, which submit bordereaux in more than 100 file layouts. Digitide said machine learning maps those inputs into a standard layout, accelerating underwriting at 10 times speed while the insurer retains control over delegation of authority.
For a US specialty insurer, Digitide described an AI-native audit platform that selects higher-risk claims, automates routine reviews and routes suspect claims for investigation. The stated result was 60% faster claims-audit cycles. A US property insurer uses an agentic assistant that reads customer intent and entities, calls policy, billing and document application programming interfaces, and cites the source in each response.
Digitide also described AI-led pre-authorisation, scheduling, medical coding, submission, denial prediction, compliance, accounts receivable and collections work for a US healthcare provider group. For a global reinsurance group, it said a multi-large-language-model platform produces customer intelligence, assesses risks and automates underwriting, claims and policy-administration workflows, with 100% of answers cited and scoped by permission.
Its field deployment engineers completed 14 generative-AI minimum viable product builds across 13 industries in Q2FY27 using the Amazon Web Services Bedrock platform. In manufacturing, Digitide cited a predictive-maintenance use case for a global truck manufacturer that reduced customer losses from unplanned workshop visits by 70%.
How is Digitide supporting AI delivery and future expansion?
Digitide is supporting AI delivery through an AI Lab in Bangalore, an AI Centre of Excellence in Coimbatore and platform operations in Chennai, Bangalore and Toronto. The company also reported more than 25 proprietary AI assets and more than 10 technology partners.
The company has strategic alliances with Amazon Web Services and Anthropic, according to its Q2FY27 presentation. Its new operating model comprises five business units, including International BPM and Tech & Digital, alongside sales coverage for West markets, covering the US and Canada, and India markets, covering India, the Middle East and South-East Asia.
Digitide reported international revenue of Rs 323 crore in Q2FY27, equal to 42.5% of quarterly revenue and up 13.5% year on year. AI-infused BPM is delivered in India and the US, platforms cover India, the Middle East, South-East Asia and the US, and Data, AI and Cloud professional services cover the US and India.
Management’s stated next steps are to scale go-to-market activity, accelerate AI across the enterprise, right-size costs and portfolio, and improve receivable collections. Digitide also said it is scaling its global capability centre offering through a build-operate-transfer model and plans to transform the US Insurance Data Hub into an AI-led reporting and compliance platform for insurers.
Conclusion
Digitide’s Q2FY27 AI-led revenue increase to Rs 30.5 crore was distributed across BPM, platforms and professional services, with the three layers contributing 37%, 35% and 28%, respectively. The AI revenue increase occurred as Tech & Digital expanded its revenue mix and margin, while company-wide revenue declined 2.0% sequentially.
The next disclosure to watch is whether management’s plans to expand sales coverage, build platforms, scale the build-operate-transfer offering and accelerate AI produce a larger AI-led revenue contribution. Digitide has not disclosed a future AI-revenue target, customer count for AI services, investment amount or timetable for the Insurance Data Hub transformation.
