Why did Jocil's half-year profit fall?
Jocil's half-year profit fell because lower chemicals and power generation earnings outweighed the improvement in soap profitability. Total segment result was Rs 6.292 crore for the six months ended September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 11.1216 crore in the corresponding 2025 period, a reduction of Rs 4.8296 crore before unallocable expenditure, interest and tax.
