The latest half-year net loss of Rs 10.52 lakh was higher than the Rs 7.17 lakh loss shown for the six months ended 30 September 2025. Total expenses in the latest period included Rs 3.84 lakh of employee-benefit expense, Rs 0.03 lakh of depreciation and amortisation, and Rs 11.05 lakh of other expenses. How is Khyati Multimedia supporting its operations?
Khyati Multimedia said operations are being funded by its managing director, who has confirmed continued financial support. The company cited that support in explaining why it prepared the 30 September 2026 results on a going-concern basis, despite nil operating revenue, a Rs 10.52 lakh half-year loss and a Rs 18.91 lakh excess of current liabilities over current assets.
The filing does not disclose a committed amount, duration, repayment terms or other contractual terms for the managing director’s support. Kartikbhai J Patel signed the results as chairman and managing director. The Audit Committee and Board reviewed and approved the unaudited standalone second-quarter and half-year results on 5 November 2026.
Cash-flow data show Rs 19.18 lakh of unsecured loans taken during the six months ended 30 September 2026. The comparable line showed an outflow of Rs 12 lakh in the six months ended 30 September 2025. Khyati Multimedia did not identify the lender or lenders for the Rs 19.18 lakh of unsecured loans, and the filing does not explicitly connect that cash-flow item to the managing director’s stated support.
Khyati Multimedia reported net cash outflow from operating activities of Rs 19.22 lakh in the latest half year, compared with cash generated from operations of Rs 10.84 lakh in the corresponding prior-year period. The operating cash outflow followed an operating loss before working-capital changes of Rs 13.22 lakh. Financing inflow of Rs 19.18 lakh partly offset the operating outflow, producing a Rs 0.09 lakh reduction in cash and cash equivalents.

Other current assets rose to Rs 7.96 lakh from Rs 4.24 lakh, while cash and cash equivalents declined to Rs 0.41 lakh from Rs 0.45 lakh. Total liabilities rose to Rs 2.3769 crore from Rs 2.2056 crore, while total assets increased to Rs 3.5649 crore from Rs 3.4947 crore. What issues did the limited review report raise?
Khyati Multimedia’s statutory auditors carried out a limited review of the unaudited 30 September 2026 results under Regulation 33 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The report says a review relies primarily on inquiries and analytical procedures, provides less assurance than an audit, and does not express an audit opinion.
The auditors said they had not received registered agreements or party confirmations for advances against land amounting to Rs 2.0875 crore. They said land registration for advances paid over the years had not been completed. Khyati Multimedia’s balance sheet showed other non-current assets of Rs 2.0875 crore at 30 September 2026, unchanged from 31 March 2026.
The review report also addressed customer advances previously reported as deemed deposits under Sections 73 to 76 of the Companies Act, 2013. Of Rs 51 lakh previously reported, management supplied explanations and supporting documentation for Rs 41 lakh during the current quarter, and that amount was reclassified as inter-corporate deposits. The auditors said their conclusion was not modified in respect of this Rs 41 lakh reclassification.
Rs 10 lakh of the previously reported customer advances remained outstanding at the end of the quarter and continued to be deemed deposits, according to the report. The auditors said management had not determined the impact of non-compliance and that they could not determine possible interest, penalties or other consequences because requisite information and documentation were unavailable. The report also said evidence had not been provided to confirm that the fair value of Khyati Multimedia’s investment in Khyati Retail & Eatery Pvt Ltd matched its book value.
Conclusion
Khyati Multimedia’s half-year filing shows a company with no operating revenue in the six months to 30 September 2026, a Rs 10.52 lakh net loss and a Rs 18.91 lakh working-capital deficit. The company nevertheless prepared its results on a going-concern basis because its managing director confirmed continued financial support, while the cash-flow statement separately recorded Rs 19.18 lakh of unsecured loans taken during the period.
The next results should show whether Khyati Multimedia resumes revenue from operations and whether its cash balance, current-liability position and unsecured funding change after 30 September 2026. Investors can also watch for progress on the Rs 2.0875 crore land advances, the Rs 10 lakh deemed-deposit matter and any further disclosure on the amount or terms of the managing director’s support.
