Why did Nexome Capital Markets’ first-half revenue decline?
Nexome Capital Markets’ decline was mainly caused by investment-banking operations, whose first-half segment revenue fell to Rs 5.36 crore from Rs 22.47 crore a year earlier. The Rs 17.11 crore reduction in that segment outweighed an increase in capital-market operations revenue to Rs 3.48 crore from Rs 2.55 crore.
The segment disclosure recorded unallocated income of Rs 5.52 crore for the 2026 first half, compared with Rs 1.51 crore in the prior-year period. Together, capital-market operations, investment-banking operations and unallocated income totalled Rs 14.36 crore, versus Rs 26.53 crore a year earlier. Nexome Capital Markets does not allocate property, plant and equipment, segment assets or segment liabilities to reportable segments because assets are used interchangeably and liabilities are contracted at the entity level.
