What did NXT INFRA declare for Q2 FY27?
NXT INFRA declared a Q2 FY27 distribution of Rs 7.8073 per unit, amounting to Rs 444.40 crore for the quarter ended September 2026. Its distribution-history table rounds the per-unit figure to Rs 7.81, while the net distributable cash flow, or NDCF, statement reports the Rs 444.40 crore total.
The Q2 FY27 amount was Rs 6.6573 per unit above the Rs 1.15 per unit declared in Q1 FY27. It was also higher than the Rs 3.31 per unit declared in Q2 FY26, although the presentation does not assign that year-on-year movement to a specific project, traffic corridor or operating development.
The latest declaration took NXT INFRA's FY27 distribution through Q2 to Rs 8.96 per unit. Since listing in July 2024, cumulative distributions reached Rs 44.18 per unit, comprising Rs 18.01 per unit in FY25, Rs 17.23 per unit in FY26 and Rs 8.96 per unit in the first half of FY27.
How did NXT INFRA generate Q2 FY27 distributable cash flow?
NXT INFRA generated Rs 444.40 crore of Q2 FY27 NDCF principally through Rs 616.807 crore of cash flows received from SPVs. The Trust's own cash flow from operating activities was negative Rs 9.438 crore, meaning the cash-flow bridge relies primarily on SPV distributions computed under the relevant framework.
Finance cost on borrowing reduced the bridge by Rs 72.008 crore, Trust-level debt repayment reduced it by Rs 55.638 crore, and capital expenditure on existing assets not funded by debt, equity or earlier contractual reserves reduced it by Rs 37.80 crore. The presentation records no treasury or investing-income receipt and no amount under statutory, judicial, regulatory or governmental stipulations.
The agreement-related item appears as negative Rs 2.476 crore in the deductions section, which mathematically increases the bridge when deducted. NXT INFRA's presentation gives no further label before the text referring to an agreement under which the Trust operates or owns an infrastructure asset or generates revenue or cash flows.
The Trust-level repayment definition includes scheduled principal instalments but excludes debt repayments refinanced through new debt, including overdraft facilities, and funds raised by issuing units. Finance cost excludes amortisation of transaction costs as well as shareholder debt or loans from the Trust, as specified in the Q2 FY27 NDCF framework.

How was NXT INFRA's Q2 FY27 distribution classified?
NXT INFRA classified its rounded Rs 7.81-per-unit Q2 FY27 distribution as Rs 1.29 of interest, Rs 1.48 of dividend and Rs 5.04 of return of capital. Return of capital represented the largest disclosed component of the latest distribution.
The classification changed from Q1 FY27, when the entire Rs 1.15-per-unit amount was reported as interest. It also differed from Q2 FY26, whose Rs 3.31 per unit comprised Rs 2.39 of interest and Rs 0.92 of dividend, without a return-of-capital component in the presentation.
The Q2 FY27 declaration is one of the disclosed quarters using all three categories. Q2 FY25 comprised Rs 1.37 of interest and Rs 6.66 of return of capital, while Q3 FY26 comprised Rs 1.46 of interest and Rs 6.02 of return of capital; neither period showed a dividend component.
NXT INFRA does not provide a payment date, tax treatment or project-level allocation for the Q2 FY27 interest, dividend and return-of-capital amounts. The disclosed figures establish the classification of the Rs 7.81 rounded distribution, rather than the cash received by holders after any tax or other treatment.
How variable have NXT INFRA's distributions been since listing?
NXT INFRA's disclosed quarterly distributions have ranged from Rs 1.15 per unit in Q1 FY27 to Rs 8.03 per unit in Q2 FY25 since the July 2024 listing. The Rs 7.81 per unit declared for Q2 FY27 was the second-highest quarterly figure in the distribution record shown.
FY25 distributions totalled Rs 18.01 per unit across Q2, Q3 and Q4, compared with Rs 17.23 per unit across all four quarters of FY26. The FY25 total was therefore Rs 0.78 per unit higher, even though FY26 included a Rs 7.48-per-unit declaration in Q3 FY26.
Within FY26, the declared amount rose from Rs 2.08 per unit in Q1 to Rs 7.48 per unit in Q3, then declined to Rs 4.35 per unit in Q4. In FY27, the movement from Rs 1.15 per unit in Q1 to Rs 7.81 per unit in Q2 produced the Rs 8.96-per-unit first-half total.
Conclusion
NXT INFRA's Q2 FY27 declaration of Rs 7.8073 per unit was matched by Rs 444.40 crore of NDCF, with Rs 616.807 crore of SPV receipts offset by negative operating cash flow, Rs 72.008 crore of finance cost, Rs 55.638 crore of Trust-level debt repayment and Rs 37.80 crore of capital expenditure. The Rs 44.18-per-unit cumulative distribution record also shows that both quarterly amounts and the mix of interest, dividend and return of capital have varied since July 2024.
The next disclosed cash-flow markers are projected annuity receipts of Rs 327.82 crore in Q3 FY27 and Rs 195.54 crore in Q4 FY27. NXT INFRA states that these projections may vary with Bank Rate and Price Index figures, so subsequent SPV cash receipts and future NDCF will be the relevant disclosed measures to watch.
