Why did PCS Technology's other income exceed operating revenue?
PCS Technology reported Rs 1.0018 crore of consolidated other income in the September 2026 quarter, against revenue from operations of Rs 9.99 lakh. PCS Technology said revenue from IT-enabled services was much lower, resulting in other income exceeding revenue from operations.
PCS Technology identifies IT-enabled facility management as its sole reportable business segment under Indian Accounting Standard 108, or Ind AS 108. The filing does not split the quarterly Rs 1.0018 crore of other income into individual components, so it does not establish the precise contribution from interest or any other source.
The pattern was also evident in the preceding two quarters. Other income was Rs 97.10 lakh in both the June 2026 and September 2025 quarters, while revenue from operations was Rs 10.01 lakh and Rs 8.67 lakh, respectively.
