Aavas Financiers board meeting and call
Aavas Financiers has said its board will meet on October 26, 2026, to consider and approve unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. The company has also scheduled an earnings call at 6:30 pm IST on the same day. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manu Singh and Chief Financial Officer Ghanshyam Gupta are expected to participate in the call. Aavas Financiers' Q1FY27 base
The most recent reported quarter provides a reference point before Aavas releases its September-quarter numbers. For Q1FY27, the company reported revenue of ₹416 crore, up 21% year-on-year, and net income of ₹171 crore, up 23%. Its profit margin was reported at 41%, unchanged from the comparable earlier period. Motilal Oswal Financial Services described the quarter as broadly normal, noting that income was in line with expectations but asset under management growth was weaker than expected because of elevated repayments. The brokerage retained a Neutral rating and a target price of ₹1,650 after its July 22, 2026 update.
Lending growth and margin trends
Aavas reported assets under management of about ₹23,900 crore in Q1FY27, representing 15% year-on-year growth and about 2% sequential growth. Disbursements rose about 41% year-on-year to ₹1,610 crore, supported by higher volumes and productivity. However, annualised loan-book run-off remained high at about 19.4%, compared with 19.8% in the previous quarter and 16.2% a year earlier. Management indicated that repayments increased modestly during April and May, particularly for loans carrying rates above 14%, before normalising in June. Reported spreads declined by about 15 basis points sequentially to about 5.05%, while calculated net interest margin fell by about 20 basis points.

What the results mean for investors
The earnings announcements will offer sector-specific evidence on demand, margins, credit growth and capital expenditure conditions. In Aavas Financiers' case, investors are likely to examine asset under management growth, disbursements, repayment behaviour, spreads, net interest margins and credit costs. The lender reported credit costs of ₹12.8 crore in Q1FY27, above Motilal Oswal's estimate of ₹10 crore. Its pre-provision operating profit increased 22% year-on-year to ₹230 crore, while operating expenses rose about 10% to ₹180 crore. These metrics will help show whether the repayment and margin trends seen in the June quarter persisted through September.
Outlook for the October 26 earnings slate
The October 26 result announcements will bring official Q2FY27 data from companies across several major market segments. Investors will have company disclosures, board-approved financial statements and management commentary to assess the quarter. For Aavas Financiers, the board decision and evening earnings call are the confirmed next events. The company will report both quarterly and half-year figures for the period ended September 30, 2026. Market attention will remain focused on the reported numbers and management explanations rather than unverified estimates.
