How did Silverstorm fund capital allocation in H1 2026?
Silverstorm funded its H1 2026 financing flows principally with Rs 69.61 crore of proceeds from equity shares, compared with no equity-share proceeds in the year ended March 31, 2026. The company completed an initial public offering of 61,98,000 fresh equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 each at an issue price of Rs 133 each, and listed on the BSE SME Platform on July 31, 2026.
The consolidated cash-flow statement also records Rs 9.56 crore of proceeds from long-term borrowings and Rs 12.61 crore from short-term borrowings in the six months ended September 30. These inflows were below Rs 31.80 crore of long-term debt repayments and Rs 12.19 crore of short-term debt repayments. Net cash generated from financing activities was Rs 47.35 crore, against Rs 37.16 crore in the full year ended March 31, 2026.
The filing reports cash movements by category and does not allocate specific IPO proceeds to individual projects or loan accounts. It shows that equity proceeds of Rs 69.61 crore were received in the same half year as Rs 32.63 crore of property, plant and equipment purchases and Rs 43.99 crore of borrowing repayments. No separate post-IPO use-of-proceeds reconciliation was included in the September 30 financial results.
How much did Silverstorm reduce borrowings by September 2026?
Silverstorm reduced consolidated long-term and short-term borrowings by a combined Rs 21.82 crore between March 31, 2026 and September 30, 2026. Total borrowings were Rs 43.25 crore at September 30, comprising Rs 35.76 crore of long-term borrowings and Rs 7.49 crore of short-term borrowings, compared with Rs 65.07 crore six months earlier.
Long-term borrowings declined Rs 16.34 crore from Rs 52.10 crore, while short-term borrowings declined Rs 5.48 crore from Rs 12.97 crore. Those balance-sheet changes occurred alongside fresh borrowing proceeds of Rs 22.17 crore and repayment cash flows of Rs 43.99 crore. The cash-flow statement does not identify whether any other balance-sheet movements affected the closing borrowing balances.
Shareholders' funds increased Rs 75.69 crore to Rs 209.08 crore at September 30 from Rs 133.39 crore at March 31. The September balance included Rs 22.68 crore of share capital and Rs 186.40 crore of reserves and surplus. Non-current liabilities, which include long-term borrowings, deferred tax liabilities and provisions, fell to Rs 39.10 crore from Rs 54.50 crore.

Where did Silverstorm's investment cash outflow go?
Silverstorm used Rs 31.43 crore of net cash in investing activities in H1 2026, led by Rs 32.63 crore spent on property, plant and equipment. The outflow was partly offset by Rs 77.08 lakh from a change in capital advances and Rs 59.70 lakh of interest received, while Rs 17 lakh moved into bank balances not considered cash equivalents. The investing outflow was lower than Rs 62.84 crore in the year ended March 31, 2026.
Property, plant and equipment on the consolidated balance sheet rose Rs 42.94 crore to Rs 193.28 crore at September 30 from Rs 150.34 crore at March 31. Capital work-in-progress, which represents expenditure on assets not yet ready for use, declined Rs 12.77 crore to Rs 31.42 crore. Together, these two asset categories rose Rs 30.17 crore during the six-month period.
Silverstorm reported one primary business segment, amusement parks, resorts and related services, and one geographical segment, India, in its September 30 results. The filing therefore does not break down the Rs 32.63 crore property and equipment spending between parks, resort assets and related services. It also does not disclose a future capital-expenditure budget, asset-completion schedule or return target.
Did Silverstorm's operating cash flow cover investment spending?
Silverstorm generated Rs 7.59 crore of consolidated net cash from operating activities after tax in H1 2026, which was below its Rs 31.43 crore net investing outflow. Operating profit before working-capital changes was Rs 10.76 crore, while cash generated from operations before tax was Rs 7.65 crore. Net tax paid was Rs 5.13 lakh.
Working-capital movements included a Rs 1.70 crore reduction in trade payables, a Rs 1.07 crore increase in short-term loans and advances, and a Rs 31.43 lakh inventory increase. Trade receivables released Rs 3.96 lakh of cash. Cash generated from operations before tax was Rs 29.04 crore in the year ended March 31, 2026, a full-year comparison rather than a like-for-like half-year measure.
Operating results improved against the six months ended September 30, 2025. Revenue from operations increased to Rs 21.46 crore from Rs 13.12 crore, while consolidated profit after tax rose to Rs 6.05 crore from Rs 4.10 crore. Finance costs were Rs 43.72 lakh, compared with Rs 6.51 lakh a year earlier, and basic earnings per share, not annualised, were Rs 2.94 against Rs 2.92.
Why did Silverstorm's cash balance rise sharply?
Silverstorm's consolidated cash and bank balances increased to Rs 23.85 crore at September 30, 2026 from Rs 16.19 lakh at March 31, 2026. Cash and cash equivalents alone closed at Rs 23.68 crore, compared with Rs 5.44 lakh at the preceding year-end. Financing cash generation of Rs 47.35 crore exceeded the Rs 31.43 crore investing outflow.
The September 30 total comprised Rs 23.57 crore of bank balances, Rs 10.97 lakh of cash and Rs 17 lakh earmarked for corporate social responsibility. At March 31, the group had Rs 10.75 lakh earmarked for debenture redemption, a balance not reported at September 30. These earmarked deposits explain the difference between total cash and bank balances and cash equivalents.
The September 30, 2026 consolidated results were unaudited and subject to a limited review by Krishnamoorthy & Krishnamoorthy, dated November 7, 2026. The auditor stated that nothing had come to its attention to indicate that the statement failed to disclose required information or contained a material misstatement. The review report says a limited review has a narrower scope than an audit.
Conclusion
Silverstorm's H1 2026 disclosures show a substantial change in its funding mix: Rs 69.61 crore of equity proceeds coincided with Rs 43.99 crore of debt repayments and a Rs 21.82 crore reduction in closing borrowings. At the same time, property, plant and equipment increased Rs 42.94 crore and consolidated cash and bank balances reached Rs 23.85 crore.
The next results will show how the Rs 23.85 crore September 30 cash balance changes with further asset additions, debt movements and operating cash generation. The filing leaves unresolved the project-level use of the IPO proceeds, the allocation of Rs 32.63 crore of equipment spending across business activities, and any capital-expenditure target or asset-completion timetable following the July 31, 2026 listing.
