Why did Valiant Organics operating cash flow decline?
Valiant Organics reported a Rs 69.40 crore year-on-year decline in net cash flow from operating activities, to Rs 22.84 crore in the half year ended 30 September 2026 from Rs 92.24 crore in the comparable 2025 period. Cash generated from operations was Rs 28.03 crore, compared with Rs 92.24 crore a year earlier, while direct taxes paid were Rs 5.18 crore against nil in the prior-year period.
The main change was in trade receivables. Receivables absorbed Rs 79.61 crore of consolidated cash in the latest half year, whereas they released Rs 21.89 crore in the prior-year period. This Rs 101.50 crore swing exceeded the fall in operating cash flow, showing that profit growth did not translate into comparable cash generation during the period.

Inventories stood at Rs 110.98 crore at 30 September 2026, compared with Rs 91.52 crore at 31 March 2026.
