Why did Zee’s cash and treasury investments fall in H1 FY27?
Zee’s cash and other investments declined from Rs 2,759.5 crore in March 2026 to Rs 2,569.4 crore in September 2026, a reduction of Rs 190.1 crore over H1 FY27. Zee said content inventory and advances increased by Rs 290 crore during H1 FY27, driven by investment in content. Its printed content inventory and advances totals were Rs 6,760 crore at FY26 and Rs 7,060 crore at September 2026, which implies a Rs 300 crore difference between those displayed totals.
Several other current-asset lines also increased between March and September 2026.
