NB Footwear Limited is a manufacturer and dealer of leather goods and footwear, initially focused on the Indian market and later expanding internationally.
The company faced significant early challenges, including accumulated losses and a loss of business with Bata India due to regulatory changes.
In the early 1990s, NB Footwear successfully pivoted to export markets, particularly in Germany, securing substantial orders and a partnership with Berger Schuhe.
Despite initial international success, the company was declared sick in 2001-02 and has not carried out any business activity for several years.
Currently, the management is exploring new opportunities to restart operations, aiming to identify viable product lines to re-enter the market.
