Amagi launched four artificial-intelligence products in Q2 FY27, but as of 30 September 2026 NEWSPULSE was the only AI offering marked as both paying and scaling, having reached its first commercial contracts in Q4 FY26 and multi-site production rollout in Q2 FY27.

Which Amagi AI products had reached commercial gates?
Amagi reported that only NEWSPULSE had completed both the paying and scaling gates by 30 September 2026. The company defines paying as first commercial contracts and scaling as a multi-site production rollout. NEWSPULSE entered private beta in Q3 FY26, was launched and marked paying in Q4 FY26, and was marked scaling in Q2 FY27. The four products introduced in Q2 FY27 were marked launched, but none was marked paying or scaling in the status table.
The distinction matters because a generally available launch is an earlier gate than a disclosed commercial contract. All five listed products had first entered private beta with design-partner customers before their launch dates, but the presentation gives no equivalent paying or scaling check marks for the four Q2 FY27 releases. The disclosed status therefore separates NEWSPULSE’s commercial progression from the earlier-stage rollout of the newer set.
What did Amagi launch in Q2 FY27?
Amagi launched Amagi STUDIO, FANPULSE, Integrated Localization and Agentic NOC in Q2 FY27, after placing each in private beta in Q1 FY27. The company presented the four releases as delivery on a statement from its 14 August 2026 Q1 FY27 earnings call that it had “a battery of products” coming from its AI portfolio. It said the products were delivered at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam in September.
Each product addresses a distinct step in media operations. Amagi STUDIO is positioned for cloud-based live production across screens; FANPULSE converts live sport for social distribution in under 60 seconds; and Integrated Localization combines captions, subtitles and dubbing on one platform. Agentic NOC, described within Amagi Intella, identifies and fixes playout issues. These are product descriptions and launch claims, rather than evidence that the four had secured disclosed contracts by the 30 September status date.
The timing also placed the releases around Amagi’s LA PLAY 2026 customer event in Los Angeles on 29 September 2026. The event had more than 700 attendees, of whom 41% were senior leaders, and Amagi highlighted the four AI launches there. The presentation does not assign customer, revenue or contract figures to Amagi STUDIO, FANPULSE, Integrated Localization or Agentic NOC.

How was NEWSPULSE different from the newer products?
Amagi positioned NEWSPULSE as its more advanced AI product, with a commercial timeline beginning in Q3 FY26 rather than Q1 FY27 for the four newer releases. It was launched and reached the paying gate in Q4 FY26, then reached scaling in Q2 FY27. In Amagi’s Q2 FY27 customer examples, a leading US broadcast group went live with NEWSPULSE to summarize news for its national newsroom, providing a disclosed production use case alongside the status milestones.
NEWSPULSE also received two named recognitions during 2026: TVTech’s Best of Show at IBC 2026 and the CSI Awards’ Best Use of Agentic AI in Media. Amagi was separately named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape 2026 for worldwide AI-driven business cycle in the media industry. These awards and market recognition do not state revenue, contract value or customer counts, but NEWSPULSE was the AI product repeatedly singled out in the presentation.
The product’s reported move to scaling came while Amagi’s broader platform activity expanded in Q2 FY27. Channel deliveries were 10.8K, up 29% year on year, and cumulative content hours reached 1.0 million, up 43%. The presentation does not quantify how much of those volumes used NEWSPULSE, so the platform measures should not be read as product-specific AI sales or adoption data.
What operating evidence does Amagi provide for its AI plan?
Amagi’s operating evidence includes a plan linking agent-led operations, AI-based content transformation and marketplace-led distribution and monetization across the production-to-viewership workflow. In the audience-expansion category, it lists Amagi STUDIO, NEWSPULSE and FANPULSE. In the agentic-operations category, it lists Agentic Media Ops, Smart Scheduler and Network Operations Center, while describing a model in which people retain judgment and exception handling and agents perform execution tasks.
For Agentic NOC, Amagi disclosed a live implementation on Amagi Intella with a top-10 customer as the design partner. It cited 10,787 channel deliveries and said the platform already has the relevant telemetry and in-house operations know-how. That is an operational proof point for the product’s design-partner stage, but the 30 September 2026 status table still did not mark Agentic NOC as paying or scaling.
The surrounding platform data show a larger operating base during Q2 FY27: 477 distributors, up 24% year on year, and 16.0 billion advertising impressions, up 65%. Amagi also listed more than 400 brands, more than 470 platforms and more than 80 advertisers under its marketplace proposition. Those figures describe Amagi’s platform and marketplace reach; they do not disclose AI-product revenue or establish that the four Q2 launches contributed to the period’s growth.
Conclusion
Amagi’s September product disclosure shows a clear difference between introducing AI tools and documenting their commercial progression. Four offerings reached general availability in Q2 FY27 after Q1 private betas, while NEWSPULSE had already advanced from a Q3 FY26 beta to paying in Q4 FY26 and scaling in Q2 FY27. Amagi also reported a NEWSPULSE newsroom deployment, whereas it did not provide customer or contract metrics for the four newer releases.
The next item to watch is movement through Amagi’s own gates after the 30 September 2026 status date: first commercial contracts, followed by multi-site production rollout. Agentic NOC has a disclosed top-10-customer design partner and is live on Amagi Intella, while Amagi STUDIO, FANPULSE and Integrated Localization are generally available. Whether those products receive paying and scaling designations remains unresolved in the supplied presentation.
