Why did IntraSoft’s intangible assets under development increase?
IntraSoft’s other intangible assets under development increased by Rs 64.69 crore during the six months ended September 30, 2026. The balance rose from Rs 223.22 crore at the March 31, 2026 year-end to Rs 287.91 crore, an increase of about 29%.
The filing presents the Rs 287.91 crore as “other intangible assets under development”, separately from completed other intangible assets. Completed other intangible assets were Rs 5.66 lakh at September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 5.77 lakh at March 31, 2026. IntraSoft did not identify the projects, products or platforms represented by the under-development balance.
The statement also does not give expected completion dates, useful lives, amortisation terms or a timetable for moving the development balance into completed intangible assets. The reported increase therefore establishes the scale of the balance-sheet addition, but not the nature or timing of the underlying development work.
How concentrated were IntraSoft’s assets in development intangibles?
IntraSoft’s Rs 287.91 crore development-intangible balance represented about 84.8% of total consolidated assets of Rs 339.69 crore at September 30, 2026. It was also about 91.2% of non-current assets of Rs 315.62 crore, making it the largest disclosed asset category.
At March 31, 2026, the Rs 223.22 crore balance represented about 69.1% of total assets of Rs 323.15 crore and about 74.3% of non-current assets of Rs 300.26 crore. Its share of total assets therefore increased by about 15.7 percentage points in six months, while total assets increased by Rs 16.54 crore.
The Rs 64.69 crore increase in development intangibles exceeded the net Rs 16.54 crore increase in total assets. This means movements in other reported asset lines offset part of the increase, including property, plant and equipment, which fell to Rs 1.36 crore at September 30, 2026 from Rs 11.67 crore at March 31, 2026.
Deferred tax assets were broadly unchanged at Rs 15.22 crore at September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 15.29 crore six months earlier. Current assets were Rs 24.07 crore, substantially below the Rs 287.91 crore development-intangible balance, while inventories stood at Rs 11.74 crore.

What does IntraSoft disclose about the business behind the assets?
IntraSoft says it operates in a single business segment, internet-based delivery of products and services. Under Indian Accounting Standard 108, or Ind AS 108, the company said segment disclosure was not required, so the filing does not allocate the Rs 287.91 crore development-intangible balance among products, businesses or geographies.
The consolidated group at September 30, 2026 comprised the parent company and five subsidiaries, including two step-down subsidiaries. The named entities include Intrasoft Ventures Pte Ltd. in Singapore, 123Greetings.com, Inc. in the United States, One Two Three Greeting (India) Pvt. Ltd., 123 Stores, Inc. in the United States and 123Stores E commerce Pvt. Ltd. in India.
The limited-review report states that one step-down subsidiary had total assets of Rs 306.47 crore at September 30, 2026. Its interim financial information was reviewed by other auditors, but the report does not connect that subsidiary’s asset balance specifically to the group’s Rs 287.91 crore intangible-assets-under-development line.
The filing also includes unaudited interim financial information for three subsidiaries and one step-down subsidiary with combined total assets of Rs 164.07 crore at September 30, 2026. Management said those entities were not material to the group, and the auditor’s conclusion was not modified in respect of their information.
How did IntraSoft’s equity, liabilities and cash change?
IntraSoft reported total equity of Rs 277.41 crore at September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 266.31 crore at March 31, 2026. Equity share capital was unchanged at Rs 16.31 crore, while other equity increased to Rs 261.10 crore from Rs 250.00 crore.
The statement does not state that a specific equity movement financed a particular intangible-development project. It presents the equity figures alongside the Rs 287.91 crore development balance, without disclosing project-level funding arrangements, contractual commitments or spending schedules.
Current liabilities declined to Rs 17.66 crore at September 30, 2026 from Rs 20.43 crore at March 31, 2026. Borrowings were Rs 25.00 lakh, compared with Rs 10.00 lakh at the preceding year-end, while trade payables due to micro and small enterprises were Rs 14.90 crore.
Cash and cash equivalents were Rs 1.26 crore at September 30, 2026, down from Rs 2.56 crore at March 31, 2026. The consolidated cash-flow statement, prepared under the indirect method in Indian Accounting Standard 7, or Ind AS 7, does not separately state the cash outlay associated with the Rs 64.69 crore increase in intangible assets under development.
The consolidated results were approved by IntraSoft’s board on November 6, 2026. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified conclusion after a limited review of the consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026.
Conclusion
IntraSoft’s September 2026 consolidated balance sheet shows that unfinished intangible assets became a larger part of its asset base. The balance rose by Rs 64.69 crore in six months to Rs 287.91 crore, while its share of total assets increased from about 69.1% at March 31, 2026 to about 84.8% at September 30, 2026.
What remains unresolved is the identity of the projects, their completion timing and the planned transfer of any amounts into completed intangible assets. The next disclosures to watch are changes in the Rs 287.91 crore balance and any company-provided detail on the development assets, because the September 2026 filing provides neither a project breakdown nor completion schedule.
