How did LGE India perform in Q2 FY27?
LGE India increased revenue, EBITDA and PAT by double digits in Q2 FY27, with EBITDA rising faster than sales. Revenue from operations rose Rs 1,206 crore to Rs 7,380 crore from Rs 6,174 crore in Q2 FY26, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 28.0% to Rs 701 crore from Rs 548 crore.
PAT rose Rs 100 crore to Rs 489 crore from Rs 389 crore a year earlier. LGE India described Q2 FY27 as its second consecutive quarter of double-digit growth and its highest year-on-year quarterly growth since listing.
LGE India’s EBITDA margin expanded by 63 basis points, or bps, to 9.5% from 8.9% in Q2 FY26. The company said operating profitability increased despite elevated commodity prices, rupee depreciation and go-to-market investments made ahead of the festive season.
For H1 FY27, LGE India reported revenue of Rs 14,613 crore, up 17.5% from Rs 12,437 crore in H1 FY26. H1 EBITDA increased 27.9% to Rs 1,616 crore, PAT rose 26.5% to Rs 1,142 crore, and the EBITDA margin expanded 90 bps to 11.1% from 10.2%.
Which LGE India segments drove Q2 FY27 growth?
LGE India’s Home Appliances & Air Solution (H&A) segment grew faster than its Home Entertainment (HE) segment in Q2 FY27. H&A revenue rose 20.9% to Rs 4,772 crore, its highest quarterly growth since listing, while HE revenue increased 17.2% to Rs 2,608 crore on what LGE India called a high base.
H&A growth came from double-digit momentum in washing machines, refrigerators and room air conditioners, while dishwashers recorded breakout growth. LGE India also cited its LG Essential Series, newly launched chest freezers and French Door refrigerators as additions supporting its reach across mass and premium categories.
H&A earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose 28.4% to Rs 416 crore, and its EBIT margin improved to 8.7% from 8.2% in Q2 FY26. LGE India said operating leverage from volume growth more than offset commodity costs, currency effects on imports and festive-season go-to-market spending.
HE delivered its third consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, led by television demand as consumers upgraded to larger screens. LGE India said its offline television value market share reached an all-time high, while its business-to-business (B2B) Information Display operation also recorded strong growth.
HE EBIT rose 19.9% to Rs 337 crore and the EBIT margin increased to 12.9% from 12.6% in Q2 FY26. LGE India said operating leverage from revenue growth and improved B2B profitability offset elevated panel costs, currency effects on imports and additional festive investments.

What is LGE India doing beyond consumer electronics?
LGE India is expanding exports and entering Vehicle Solutions, an automotive B2B vertical focused initially on in-vehicle infotainment (IVI). The company said it has added more than 20 new countries since its initial public offering and expanded its product export portfolio.
Vehicle Solutions will bring LG Korea’s automotive infotainment and telematics offerings to India, according to LGE India. The company said these products will be manufactured and supplied from its third plant at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
The Sri City plant is expected to commence operations in Q3 FY27 with compressor manufacturing. LGE India said the facility is intended to increase localisation and existing capacity for domestic and export demand, but the announcement does not specify plant capacity, Vehicle Solutions revenue or customer programmes.
LGE India linked the export expansion and automotive initiative to its three-pillar strategy of Make-in-India, Make-for-India and Make-India-Global. Managing Director Hong Ju Jeon said the company was expanding its footprint in the B2B sector while pursuing growth across domestic and export markets.
What is LGE India’s FY27 outlook and what could affect it?
LGE India reaffirmed its FY27 target of mid-teen revenue growth and an early double-digit EBITDA margin after H1 FY27 revenue grew 17.5% and EBITDA margin reached 11.1%. Management said its Q2 FY27 investments were made to establish channel readiness for the festive and wedding seasons across key markets.
LGE India expects energy-efficient air conditioners to continue supporting growth, while French Door refrigerators and dishwashers are expected to sustain premium-category demand. The company has also added Mini LED televisions to its large-screen, QNED and OLED television range following record-high offline television market share.
Commodity prices and currency movements remain LGE India’s disclosed monitorables. The company said it is addressing these through localisation, calibrated pricing and operational efficiency, after Q2 FY27 commodity, panel and import-related currency costs coincided with expanded festive-season spending.
Conclusion
LGE India’s Q2 FY27 performance combined 19.5% revenue growth with a 25.7% increase in PAT, while EBITDA rose 28.0% and margin expanded 63 bps to 9.5%. H&A, the larger segment at Rs 4,772 crore of revenue, grew faster than HE, and both segments reported higher EBIT margins despite input-cost, currency and marketing pressures.
The next disclosed milestones are the festive and wedding selling season, the expected Q3 FY27 start of compressor manufacturing at Sri City, and progress towards LGE India’s mid-teen FY27 revenue-growth target and early double-digit EBITDA-margin target. Commodity and currency trends, export expansion into more than 20 new countries since the initial public offering, and execution of the Vehicle Solutions entry remain matters identified by the company.
