Why did Texmaco Infrastructure’s Q2 profit fall year on year?
Texmaco Infrastructure’s quarterly profit fell because total expenses increased faster than total income despite a rise in other income. Consolidated net profit was Rs 5.86 crore for the September 2026 quarter, compared with Rs 6.01 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2025. Profit before tax declined to Rs 7.69 crore from Rs 8.18 crore.
Revenue from operations declined to Rs 4.77 crore from Rs 5.22 crore a year earlier. Other income rose to Rs 9.83 crore from Rs 9.35 crore, leaving total income broadly unchanged at Rs 14.60 crore against Rs 14.58 crore. Total expenses, however, rose 9.5% to Rs 7.21 crore from Rs 6.58 crore.

The tax expense decreased to Rs 1.82 crore from Rs 2.17 crore, partly limiting the decline in post-tax profit. Profit attributable to owners of the parent was Rs 5.77 crore, versus Rs 5.95 crore a year earlier, while non-controlling interest was Rs 0.09 crore, compared with Rs 0.06 crore.
Which businesses reduced Texmaco Infrastructure’s Q2 revenue?

Mini hydro profit before interest and tax declined to Rs 0.61 crore from Rs 1.06 crore in the corresponding quarter. Real estate revenue rose to Rs 1.86 crore from Rs 1.79 crore, but its profit before interest and tax edged down to Rs 2.64 crore from Rs 2.67 crore.

How did Texmaco Infrastructure perform versus the June quarter?
Texmaco Infrastructure’s September-quarter profit improved from the June 2026 quarter, when consolidated net profit was Rs 1.62 crore. Net profit increased by Rs 4.24 crore quarter on quarter, and basic and diluted earnings per share, which are not annualised, increased to Rs 0.45 from Rs 0.13.
Revenue from operations rose 32.1% sequentially from Rs 3.61 crore in the June quarter to Rs 4.77 crore. Mini hydro revenue increased to Rs 1.61 crore from Rs 0.48 crore, while real estate revenue was nearly unchanged at Rs 1.86 crore versus Rs 1.85 crore.
Job work services revenue rose to Rs 1.49 crore from Rs 1.46 crore. The quarter-on-quarter revenue improvement therefore came mainly from mini hydro, which also moved from a segment loss before interest and tax of Rs 0.61 crore in June to a profit of Rs 0.61 crore in September.
Other income increased to Rs 9.83 crore from Rs 4.72 crore, lifting total income to Rs 14.60 crore from Rs 8.33 crore. Total expenses rose to Rs 7.21 crore from Rs 6.43 crore, while profit before tax increased to Rs 7.69 crore from Rs 2.30 crore. The share of profit from associates was Rs 0.29 crore, compared with Rs 0.40 crore in June.
What do Texmaco Infrastructure’s half-year results show?
Texmaco Infrastructure reported lower consolidated revenue and profit for the six months ended 30 September 2026. First-half revenue from operations declined 9.6% to Rs 8.38 crore from Rs 9.27 crore, while net profit fell 20.4% to Rs 7.48 crore from Rs 9.41 crore in the corresponding prior-year period.
Total income for the half year declined to Rs 22.93 crore from Rs 24.70 crore. Total expenses rose to Rs 13.64 crore from Rs 12.28 crore, resulting in profit before tax of Rs 9.99 crore, down from Rs 12.94 crore.
The net tax expense fell to Rs 2.51 crore from Rs 3.53 crore. The share of profit from associates increased to Rs 0.69 crore from Rs 0.52 crore, but it did not offset the lower profit before tax.
Mini hydro reported a first-half segment loss before interest and tax of Rs 0.17 lakh, compared with a profit of Rs 1.12 crore a year earlier. Real estate segment profit before interest and tax declined to Rs 5.98 crore from Rs 6.69 crore, showing that the September-quarter recovery did not restore the prior-year half-year outcome.
What did Texmaco Infrastructure disclose about review and financial position?
Texmaco Infrastructure said its Audit Committee reviewed the results on 4 November 2026 and its board approved them on 5 November 2026. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified limited-review opinion on the unaudited quarter and half-year results prepared under Indian Accounting Standards.
Consolidated total segment assets stood at Rs 1,867.14 crore at 30 September 2026, compared with Rs 1,756.37 crore at 30 September 2025. Real estate segment assets were Rs 329.09 crore, mini hydro assets were Rs 7.56 crore, and job work services assets were Rs 8.81 crore.
Consolidated segment liabilities were Rs 339.97 crore at 30 September 2026, compared with Rs 319.29 crore a year earlier. Real estate liabilities were Rs 236.27 crore, mini hydro liabilities were Rs 2.92 crore, job work services liabilities were Rs 3.70 crore, and other-unallocated liabilities were Rs 97.07 crore.
The board also appointed Priti Todi as company secretary and compliance officer with effect from 5 November 2026. The filing reported consolidated other comprehensive income separately from quarterly net profit, at Rs 105.10 crore for the September quarter against a loss of Rs 196.57 crore in the prior-year quarter.
Conclusion
Texmaco Infrastructure’s September-quarter figures show a sequential recovery in profit and operating revenue, but lower year-on-year earnings. Revenue fell because lower mini hydro and job work services revenue outweighed the increase in real estate revenue, while expenses rose even as total income stayed broadly flat.
The filing does not disclose an operating target, earnings guidance or a scheduled business event. The disclosed corporate development is Priti Todi’s appointment from 5 November 2026; subsequent results will indicate whether mini hydro maintains its September-quarter recovery and whether the first-half revenue decline narrows.
