How did BLS E-Services perform in Q2FY27?
BLS E-Services increased revenue from operations by 57.3% year on year to Rs 424.4 crore in Q2FY27 from Rs 269.8 crore in Q2FY26. Total income rose by Rs 152.1 crore to Rs 428.1 crore from Rs 276.0 crore, with the company attributing the increase to steady business performance across its verticals.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, or EBITDA, were Rs 32.4 crore in Q2FY27, compared with Rs 26.3 crore a year earlier. The company’s EBITDA measure includes other income and grew 23.4%, less than the 55.1% increase in total income during the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
Operating EBITDA reached Rs 28.8 crore in Q2FY27 from Rs 20.0 crore in Q2FY26, an increase of Rs 8.8 crore or 43.8%. The operating measure therefore grew faster than reported EBITDA, which added Rs 6.1 crore, but more slowly than revenue from operations, which added Rs 154.6 crore.
How did BLS E-Services' Q2 profit compare with operating earnings?
BLS E-Services reported profit after tax, or PAT, of Rs 20.5 crore in Q2FY27, up 12.4% from Rs 18.3 crore in Q2FY26. The Rs 2.2 crore increase in PAT was lower than the Rs 8.8 crore rise in operating EBITDA and the Rs 152.1 crore increase in total income.
The release does not state why PAT growth lagged total income, EBITDA and operating EBITDA in Q2FY27. It does show that operating EBITDA grew 43.8%, while EBITDA including other income grew 23.4%, creating a 20.4-percentage-point difference between the two reported earnings-growth rates.
The composition of reported income also changed only modestly in absolute terms between the two quarters. Revenue from operations was Rs 424.4 crore against total income of Rs 428.1 crore in Q2FY27, compared with Rs 269.8 crore of revenue from operations and Rs 276.0 crore of total income in Q2FY26.
What were BLS E-Services' H1FY27 results?

H1FY27 EBITDA, including other income, was Rs 59.3 crore, compared with Rs 51.2 crore in H1FY26, a 15.9% increase. Operating EBITDA rose 32.5% to Rs 50.0 crore from Rs 37.7 crore, while PAT increased 9.4% to Rs 39.2 crore from Rs 35.8 crore.
The half-year figures show the same pattern as Q2FY27: income grew more quickly than earnings measures, and PAT grew most slowly. Total income added Rs 210.7 crore between H1FY26 and H1FY27, compared with increases of Rs 12.3 crore in operating EBITDA and Rs 3.4 crore in PAT.
