How will NH reach more than 7,800 beds by FY30?
NH plans to reach its FY30 capacity target through 1,555 beds in six identified developments and 400 beds classified as pipeline. Adding the six projects to the 5,879 beds reported on 30 September 2026 gives 7,434 beds, while the pipeline takes the total to 7,834 beds.
The named additions are concentrated in flagship regions. Bangalore accounts for 785 of the 1,555 beds through HSR, central and south Bangalore; Kolkata accounts for 470 beds through Rajarhat and Park Street; and Raipur accounts for 300 beds.
The 400-bed pipeline is necessary to reach the stated 7,800-plus target because the six named projects alone total 7,434 beds including current capacity. NH did not provide the pipeline's location, type, cost, completion date or project status on the expansion page.
Which NH projects add beds and when will they open?
NH has scheduled 635 beds for FY28 through the HSR Bangalore, Raipur and Park Street Kolkata projects. The 215-bed HSR greenfield project and 300-bed Raipur expansion have main contractors onboarded, while the 120-bed Park Street lease project has an operations and management agreement executed.
FY29 is scheduled to add 570 beds through Rajarhat Kolkata and central Bangalore. The 350-bed Rajarhat greenfield project has sanctions in place and is progressing as per schedule, while the 220-bed central Bangalore lease project has executed its lease and construction agreement and is in design and approvals.
The final named development is the 350-bed south Bangalore greenfield project, scheduled for FY30 and in design and approvals. Separately, NH said the South-West Bangalore Banashankari Hospital commenced operations in the last week of September 2026, but the expansion page did not state its bed count or project cost.

Rajarhat Kolkata, the Rs 900 crore and 350-bed project, also has sanctions in place and is described as progressing as per schedule. The remaining 690 named beds are at stages involving executed agreements, an operations and management agreement, or design and approvals, showing that the six projects are at different disclosed stages of development.
Conclusion
NH has set out a numerical route from 5,879 beds in September 2026 to more than 7,800 by FY30. The route comprises 1,555 beds from six identified projects and 400 beds in pipeline, with Bangalore representing the largest named regional addition and Rajarhat Kolkata the highest-cost single development.
The next disclosed milestones are the FY28 completions for HSR Bangalore, Raipur and Park Street Kolkata, followed by FY29 completion targets for Rajarhat and central Bangalore and the FY30 target for south Bangalore. NH's 400-bed pipeline remains a key item to watch because the presentation provides no location, cost, timing or status for it.
