Why did Share India’s H1FY27 margins improve?
Share India’s H1FY27 margins improved because EBITDA and reported PAT grew faster than income from operations. EBITDA growth of 29.6% exceeded the 23.3% rise in income, taking the EBITDA margin to 45.8% from 43.6% in H1FY26. This represented an increase of 222 basis points, with 100 basis points equal to one percentage point.
Share India’s reported PAT margin rose to 27.9% in H1FY27 from 26.0% a year earlier, an improvement of 188 basis points. The 32.3% PAT increase was 9 percentage points above the growth rate for income from operations. Its release identifies core broking, trading and merchant banking businesses as drivers of overall revenue and earnings before interest and tax growth, but does not provide first-half revenue or profit by business segment.

What technology changes is Share India planning?
Share India had received in-principle board approval by October 30, 2026 to evaluate the proposed amalgamation of Ace Alpha Tech Limited with the company, subject to applicable regulatory and statutory approvals. The company said Ace Alpha’s capabilities in front-end development, application programming interface integration, analytics, risk and user management, product development and client solutions could complement Share India’s algorithmic trading, quantitative research and execution infrastructure.
Share India said the Ace Alpha proposal could create opportunities for technology integration, faster product development, enhanced client experience, cross-selling and broader deployment of technology solutions. The restructuring remains subject to approvals and completion. Separately, in its October 30, 2026 release, Share India said the amalgamation of Silverleaf Capital Services is intended to strengthen technology integration and its algorithmic trading ecosystem, while creating opportunities for business growth and global expansion.
Conclusion
Share India’s H1FY27 figures show profit grew faster than income from operations, with reported PAT increasing 32.3% to Rs 234.9 crore and EBITDA rising 29.6% to Rs 385.4 crore. The associated increases in EBITDA margin to 45.8% and PAT margin to 27.9% accompanied higher margin trading facility AUM, a larger institutional client base and activity across merchant banking, insurance and digital distribution.
The next disclosed matter to watch is the proposed Ace Alpha Tech amalgamation, which remained conditional on regulatory and statutory approvals and completion of the restructuring process as of October 30, 2026. Share India has also outlined the Silverleaf Capital Services amalgamation as part of its technology-integration plans, without disclosing a completion date or financial target.
