How close is Marksans' UK and Europe business to the US?
Marksans' UK and Europe business was ₹404.6 crore in Q2FY27, representing 43.0% of revenue, compared with ₹420.9 crore, or 44.8%, for US and North America. The gap between the two largest regions was ₹16.3 crore, while Marksans' total revenue for the quarter was ₹940.2 crore.
US and North America remained Marksans' largest market, but UK and Europe grew much faster. US and North America revenue increased 8.7% year-on-year and 11.6% quarter-on-quarter, against UK and Europe growth of 64.9% year-on-year and 13.7% quarter-on-quarter. Marksans described the ₹405 crore regional result as its highest-ever quarterly revenue for UK and Europe.
Australia and New Zealand also recorded 64.0% year-on-year growth, reaching ₹100.6 crore in Q2FY27, but its revenue was about one-quarter of UK and Europe revenue. Rest of World revenue fell 47.0% year-on-year to ₹14.1 crore amid the West Asia crisis, which affected Middle East shipments.
What drove Marksans' UK and Europe growth in Q2FY27?
Marksans' UK and Europe growth was led by organic revenue of ₹365 crore in Q2FY27, up 48.6% year-on-year excluding QliniQ. QliniQ added about ₹40 crore after its acquisition and consolidation in Q1FY27, meaning the presentation attributes most of the regional increase to the existing business and new launches.
Organic revenue increased from ₹312 crore in Q1FY27 to ₹365 crore in Q2FY27. Including QliniQ, regional revenue rose from ₹356 crore in Q1FY27 to ₹405 crore in Q2FY27. QliniQ's contribution moved from ₹44 crore in Q1FY27 to about ₹40 crore in Q2FY27, while the organic business increased by ₹53 crore on the presentation's rounded quarterly figures.
For H1FY27, UK and Europe revenue grew 69.4% year-on-year, according to Marksans. Organic H1FY27 revenue was ₹677 crore, up 50.7% year-on-year, while QliniQ contributed about ₹84 crore. These figures separate acquisition-related revenue from growth in Marksans' pre-existing regional operations.
What is changing in Marksans' UK business?
Marksans says the UK market stabilised after a flat FY26 and that new launches are supporting both revenue growth and margin improvement. The UK business is served through Marksans Pharma (UK) Ltd., including Bell, Sons & Co. in over-the-counter, or OTC, products and Relonchem in prescription, or Rx, products.
Bell, Sons & Co. has more than 450 products or stock-keeping units, while Relonchem has more than 175 marketing authorisations. These product and regulatory platforms form the UK operations behind the ₹365 crore of organic UK and Europe revenue reported in Q2FY27.
Marksans reported 18 approvals and 30 filings in FY26, with 24 products awaiting approval. Management also disclosed plans for more than 200 filings over four years. Those filings are development activity rather than recorded sales, but they identify the mechanism Marksans expects to use for future launches.

How is Marksans expanding its European business?
Marksans is expanding its European business through QliniQ in the Netherlands, a European Union holding company in Ireland and operations in Germany. QliniQ contributed about ₹40 crore in Q2FY27, after contributing ₹44 crore in Q1FY27 following its acquisition and consolidation in that quarter.
In the Netherlands, Marksans said new product filings and launches were under way through QliniQ. In Ireland, Marksans Pharma (Europe) Ltd. has been established as the European Union holding company, with filing and licensing work under way. The presentation does not provide separate Q2FY27 revenue for the Netherlands, Ireland or Germany.
Marksans Pharma GmbH and ABCnow GmbH add operations and portfolio presence in Germany, and ABCnow was consolidated from Q2FY27. Management identified Europe as a key growth driver over coming quarters, though the presentation gives no regional target or timetable for revenue from these entities.
What should be watched in Marksans' geographic mix?
Marksans' Q2FY27 revenue mix depended principally on two nearly equal regions, with UK and Europe at ₹404.6 crore and US and North America at ₹420.9 crore. Together, those regions accounted for 87.8% of the quarter's ₹940.2 crore revenue, compared with 10.7% for Australia and New Zealand and 1.5% for Rest of World.
The US business is operated through wholly owned Time-Cap Laboratories Inc., acquired in June 2015, and has more than 100 manufactured and distributed products. Marksans reported 112 stock-keeping units launched in FY26 and a pipeline of 51 products, while saying its US order book remained strong despite a softer US consumer environment.
Marksans said US prescription price erosion remained in single digits and that the order book supported its outlook for H2FY27. In contrast, the UK and Europe trajectory disclosed in the presentation depends on organic launches, QliniQ integration, filings and licensing activity. Rest of World recovery depends on stabilisation in geopolitical conditions affecting Middle East shipments.
Conclusion
The Q2FY27 figures show that Marksans' geographic revenue mix changed materially: UK and Europe reached ₹404.6 crore, nearly matching US and North America at ₹420.9 crore. Organic revenue of ₹365 crore supplied most of the UK and Europe increase, while QliniQ contributed about ₹40 crore following its Q1FY27 acquisition.
The next disclosed milestones are the planned 200-plus UK filings over four years, the 24 products awaiting approval and continuing product filings and launches in the Netherlands. Management's H2FY27 outlook also rests on the US order book, while the timing of any recovery in Rest of World sales remains linked to geopolitical conditions affecting Middle East shipments.
