Satin Creditcare Network Ltd is scheduled to consider its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026, at a board meeting on October 28, 2026. The microfinance lender had earlier released a provisional business update for the second quarter of FY27. That update pointed to growth in its loan book, disbursements and customer base, alongside an improvement in standalone asset quality. The company’s consolidated assets under management, or AUM, reached about ₹16,600 crore at the end of September. The update is relevant ahead of the formal quarterly results, which will provide the detailed income, expense and profitability figures.

Board Meeting Scheduled for October 28
The board meeting is intended to consider and approve unaudited financial results for Q2 FY27 and the first half of FY27. The results will cover both standalone and consolidated performance. Satin Creditcare has also scheduled an earnings conference call for October 29, 2026, at 11:00 am IST. The company’s provisional operating data gives investors a preliminary view of its business trajectory before the formal financial statements are released. All business-update figures cited by the company are provisional. The final results may provide further details on margins, credit costs and subsidiary performance.
Consolidated AUM Expands 31% Year on Year
Consolidated AUM stood at approximately ₹16,600 crore as of September 30, 2026. This represented a 31% increase from ₹12,687 crore a year earlier. It also rose from ₹15,935 crore at the end of June 2026. On a standalone basis, AUM was around ₹13,600 crore, compared with ₹11,044 crore in Q2 FY26. The standalone loan book was also higher than ₹13,312 crore reported at the end of Q1 FY27. These figures show growth in both the consolidated platform and the core standalone lending business.
Disbursements Remain Strong During the Quarter
Consolidated disbursements were ₹3,697 crore in Q2 FY27, up 41% from ₹2,626 crore in the year-earlier quarter. The amount was also above ₹3,495 crore disbursed in Q1 FY27. For the first half of FY27, consolidated disbursements reached ₹7,192 crore, a 48% year-on-year increase. Standalone disbursements were ₹3,101 crore in Q2, up 28% from ₹2,421 crore a year ago. The provisional update said the company maintained growth despite the seasonal softness usually seen in the second quarter.
Asset Quality Shows Improvement
Standalone gross non-performing assets, or GNPA, declined to 1.9% as of September 30, 2026. This compares with 3.5% a year earlier, an improvement of 158 basis points. The company reported X-Bucket collection efficiency of about 99.8% during Q2 FY27. These two indicators will be closely tracked in the formal results because asset quality and collections are central to the operating performance of a microfinance lender. The update did not provide a detailed breakup of provisions or net non-performing assets.
Non-MFI Portfolio Gains Share
The share of non-MFI business in Satin Creditcare’s standalone portfolio increased to 20% as of September 30, 2026. It was 15% a year earlier and 19% at the end of the preceding quarter. The increase indicates a larger contribution from lending activities outside the core microfinance portfolio. The company has cited secured non-MFI assets such as housing and MSME finance as part of this diversification. The formal Q2 results may offer greater clarity on the financial contribution of these segments.

Funding Access and Borrowing Costs
Satin Creditcare raised ₹2,628 crore through diversified debt instruments during Q2 FY27. Its marginal cost of borrowing, excluding subordinated debt, declined by 55 basis points year on year to 10.28%. Access to debt funding and the cost of that funding are important factors for a lending company’s margins. The stated reduction in marginal borrowing cost comes alongside higher disbursements and a larger AUM base. The forthcoming financial results will indicate how these operating factors translated into interest income and profitability.
Branches, Customers and Workforce Increase
The company added about 1.9 lakh borrowers during the quarter, taking its standalone client base to 33.3 lakh. It opened 39 standalone branches in Q2 FY27, bringing the network to 1,876 branches. Standalone employee strength rose 8% year on year to 16,535. The branch and customer additions support loan-originating capacity, while also increasing the scale of field operations. Their financial effect will depend on productivity, collection performance and operating expenses over time.
