Olectra Greentech Limited is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of electric buses, tippers, and composite polymer insulators. It holds a leading position in the Indian electric bus market.

It achieved substantial growth with a revenue increase of 25% in Q2 of 2025 compared to the previous year, largely driven by higher deliveries and growing demand.

The company expanded its production capacity with a new greenfield plant capable of initially producing 5,000 electric vehicles per year, scalable to 10,000 units per year.

Olectra has also ventured into new product lines, launching electric tippers, and is working on incorporating advanced blade battery technology into its buses, which could improve efficiency and performance.

Despite a margin contraction in its EV segment, the company reported a healthy 9% EBITDA growth, supported by operational efficiencies, demonstrating its resilience amidst market challenges.
