Why did Dabur Health Supplements decline?
Dabur Health Supplements declined at a low-single-digit rate because Honey fell by a mid-single-digit rate, although Dabur Chyawanprash grew at a low-single-digit rate. Dabur said the Honey decline came on a high base and was partly affected by temporary disruption in trade sentiment following an FSSAI labeling-related order.
The two named brands therefore moved in different directions within the same segment. Dabur Chyawanprash remained in growth, but the mid-single-digit Honey decline coincided with the segment’s low-single-digit contraction. Dabur also lists Glucose-D under Health Supplements, but did not disclose its individual growth rate or an operating explanation for its performance.
Dabur continued to display Organic Honey and Honey Squeezy alongside the main Honey range during the reported period. The presentation also retained the “World’s No.1 Honey” and “Purity Guaranteed” product positioning. However, it does not provide separate growth, sales or distribution data for Organic Honey and Honey Squeezy, so their contribution to the franchise result is not disclosed.
Dabur did not disclose revenue, volume growth, market share or a combined growth rate for the three healthcare segments on these pages. The descriptions show relative category direction, rather than each segment’s monetary weight. The disclosed change was a split between a Honey-affected supplements business and growth in Digestives and OTC & Ethicals.
Which Digestives brands drove Dabur’s growth?
Dabur Digestives delivered strong double-digit growth, with the Hajmola franchise recording double-digit growth and both Pudin Hara and Isabgol reporting strong double-digit growth. Unlike Health Supplements, where Honey declined while Dabur Chyawanprash grew, the three named Digestives franchises all contributed positive momentum.
Hajmola continued to perform well, according to Dabur, and the presentation identifies Hajmola Regular and Hajmola LimCola within the franchise. Dabur did not provide separate percentage growth rates for those formats. The stated double-digit Hajmola growth nevertheless provides a product-level driver for the segment’s strong double-digit result.
Pudin Hara posted strong double-digit growth driven by growth across all formats, Dabur said. The presentation highlights Pudin Hara 5 in 1 Fizz, which combines ajwain, lemon, jeera, pudina and kala namak. The product is positioned as providing fast relief from acidity, but Dabur did not disclose the launch date, sales contribution or distribution of the format.
Isabgol’s strong double-digit growth was driven by improved market competitiveness, according to Dabur. Dabur also said its newly launched Orange Isabgol with ayurvedic actives was received well by consumers. The displayed product includes Triphala, comprising amla, haritaki and bibhitaki, with psyllium husk and saunf, and carries sugar-free and natural fibre supplement labels.

How did Dabur OTC & Ethicals perform?
Dabur OTC & Ethicals grew in the mid teens, supported by continued growth momentum in Honitus and high-teen growth in Health Juices on a strong base. OTC means over-the-counter, while the presentation’s listed portfolio includes Honitus, Amla Juice, Giloy Health, Dia products, Jamun products and Himalayan Shilajit Gold Resin.
Honitus recorded broad-based growth across formats, Dabur said. This differs from the Supplements discussion, where Dabur specifically identified Honey as declining, and from Digestives, where the presentation named Hajmola, Pudin Hara and Isabgol as growth contributors. Dabur did not provide format-level growth or sales figures for Honitus.
Health Juices sustained a strong growth trajectory and registered high-teen growth on a strong base, according to Dabur. The presentation features Dia Control Juice, positioned around helping maintain healthy blood sugar and supporting metabolism and digestion with ayurvedic herbs. Dabur did not disclose individual growth rates for Amla Juice, Giloy Health, Dia Control or Jamun variants.
The segment’s mid-teen growth description was below the stated strong double-digit rate for Digestives and contrasted with the low-single-digit decline in Health Supplements. Dabur did not disclose whether Honitus or Health Juices made the larger contribution to OTC & Ethicals growth. It also did not provide segment revenue or a split between the cough-remedy and juice portfolios.
What does Dabur’s healthcare split show?
Dabur’s healthcare disclosures show different mechanisms across the three segments. Health Supplements faced Honey’s mid-single-digit decline following a high base and temporary trade-sentiment disruption, while Digestives benefited from Hajmola growth, Pudin Hara’s all-format performance and improved competitiveness for Isabgol.
OTC & Ethicals had a separate set of disclosed drivers: Honitus grew across formats and Health Juices delivered high-teen growth from a strong base. The reported growth labels do not establish absolute sales contribution because Dabur did not publish revenue or volume numbers for Health Supplements, Digestives or OTC & Ethicals in the presentation.
Dabur’s product activity included Orange Isabgol with ayurvedic actives and Pudin Hara 5 in 1 Fizz, alongside established franchises including Dabur Chyawanprash, Honey, Hajmola and Honitus. The presentation states that consumers received Orange Isabgol well, but provides no numerical target, pricing, launch timing or distribution measure for either new product.
Conclusion
Dabur’s healthcare portfolio produced offsetting results in the reported period. Health Supplements declined at a low-single-digit rate as Honey fell mid single digit despite low-single-digit growth in Dabur Chyawanprash, while Digestives recorded strong double-digit growth and OTC & Ethicals grew in the mid teens through named product franchises.
The next disclosed matter to watch is whether the temporary trade-sentiment disruption following the FSSAI labeling-related order continues to affect Honey. Dabur also identified Pudin Hara’s all-format growth, Isabgol’s improved competitiveness and Orange Isabgol launch, Honitus’s broad-based performance, and Health Juices’ high-teen growth as current drivers, but gave no future numerical targets for them.
