Paisabazaar is extending from comparison into card servicing, payments, credit improvement and wealth-product execution. Its 6.3 crore consumers who had accessed a credit score by September 2026 provide the largest disclosed user base, while three live co-brand cards and mutual funds launched in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q2 FY27) add ongoing product touchpoints.

How is Paisabazaar moving beyond product comparison?
Paisabazaar is adding services that continue after a loan or card search, across unsecured credit, secured credit, credit progression, wealth execution and artificial intelligence. Its instant personal-loan journey was live with 18 lenders, including six large banks, and provides first-time users with a fully digital process that includes video verification and instant approval.
The platform is also building secured-credit capability around home loans and loans against property. PB Connect provides digital onboarding and process visibility for sourcing partners across more than 30 lenders, while Paisabazaar says it is transitioning the business from selected wholesale partnerships towards a retail-led model. That is a different distribution mechanism from its direct-to-consumer loan and card comparison journeys.
How do cards and payments create repeat customer contact?
Paisabazaar is using its card marketplace to support customers across discovery, comparison, application, activation, bill payment, due-date reminders and rewards. It reported 99,000 cards issued in Q2 FY27, up 10% year on year. This extends the customer path beyond an application, with activation support and payment reminders available after a card is issued.
Three co-brand propositions were live with RBL Bank, Yes Bank and Federal Bank, while a fourth insurance-focused card was described as upcoming. Paisabazaar DUET offers 1% cashback on eligible purchases, Paisabazaar PaisaSave offers 6% cashback on dining and travel plus unlimited 1% cashback elsewhere, and Paisabazaar Paisaback offers 7.5% savings on grocery spending. Paisaback can have its fee waived at annual spending of Rs 1.5 lakh and offers up to 1,000 CashPoints a month.
PB Wallet lets customers earn cashback on product purchases and redeem it against bills and recharges. PB Pass provides free lounge access at more than 1,800 lounges across more than 850 airports for new-card and selected bill-payment customers. Paisabazaar says bill payments and recharges are intended to create frequent app visits, but the presentation does not disclose payment volumes or repeat-usage rates.
How is Paisabazaar building a credit-progression journey?
Paisabazaar is combining score monitoring, improvement tools and secured cards to create a path towards unsecured credit products. Consumers who accessed a credit score rose to 6.3 crore in September 2026 from 5.8 crore in March 2026 and 5.1 crore in March 2025. The service provides monthly updates across four credit bureaus, alongside SmartMatch segmentation, credit-health features, artificial intelligence (AI) video reports and weekly alerts.
The company reported 7.2 lakh new credit-score-improvement transactions in Q2 FY27, including paid transactions for on-demand score refreshes. Its disclosed sequence begins with fixing report issues, then managing outstanding balances, followed by entry through a secured card and eventual graduation to unsecured loans or cards. The example secured card is the Paisa+ RuPay card with SBM Bank, but no conversion rate to unsecured credit is disclosed.
Paisabazaar also uses its PB Risk Score before lender decisioning. The company says it rejected about 10% of lender-approved customers on its platform, while the rejected cohort had roughly three times higher early six-month delinquency. It further reported lower first-payment defaults, although it did not give an absolute delinquency or default rate.

What wealth products can customers execute through Paisabazaar?
Paisabazaar offers mutual funds, bonds and fixed deposits alongside its credit products. Mutual funds were launched in Q2 FY27 and include a Daily Systematic Investment Plan, or SIP, beginning at Rs 100 a day. The wealth interface also includes lifecycle-based recommendations, a portfolio view across products and natural-language search using yield, rating, tenure, payout or risk.
Bonds can be executed end to end on pbmoney under Paisabazaar's own licence and include corporate bonds, government securities and baskets. Fixed deposits are available across banks, small finance banks and non-banking financial companies, including instant-withdrawal deposits. The presentation says deposit insurance through the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation applies up to Rs 5 lakh, and displayed deposit examples have a minimum investment of Rs 1,000.
The wealth offering differs from the card strategy because it adds investment execution rather than ongoing credit servicing. Paisabazaar displayed fixed-deposit rates of up to 8.5% a year and a bond-screen yield of 14.50% a year, but these are product illustrations rather than company returns or forecasts. The presentation provides no wealth assets-under-management, transaction-volume or revenue figure.
How is AI supporting Paisabazaar's expanded platform?
Paisabazaar.AI is live for conversations about credit cards, personal loans, credit scores and mutual funds. It can offer product matches, explain rates, fees and eligibility, provide application updates and transfer users to a human adviser. Paisabazaar cautions users that its AI can make mistakes, which is relevant because the tool is used across both discovery and servicing.
For the daily run rate in October 2026, Paisabazaar reported 75,000 card recommendations and 214,000 calls transcribed and monitored each day. In the month ended September 2026, its risk and fraud engine screened 10.6 lakh applications and flagged and filtered 10% before targeting, while 5.51 lakh offers were evaluated. These figures show AI use in recommendations and risk controls rather than a separately disclosed financial contribution.
Paisabazaar also reported 20% efficiency in lead to disbursal for its WhatsApp personal-loan journey, which combines eligibility, offers, verification and approval in a single conversation. Its AI call-audit process raised monitoring coverage to 100% from 4% earlier by reviewing transcripts, mandatory disclosures, compliance terms and tone. The presentation does not quantify whether these systems increase customer retention or wealth-product sales.
Conclusion
Paisabazaar's plan links comparison with continued activity: cards add servicing and reward interactions, payments provide recurring use cases, credit-score tools support a progression path, and mutual funds, bonds and deposits add investment execution. Its 6.3 crore credit-score users, 99,000 cards issued in Q2 FY27 and 7.2 lakh new score-improvement transactions show the disclosed scale of these connected components.
The next disclosed milestones are the planned insurance-focused fourth co-brand card and the development of recently launched mutual funds. Paisabazaar is also shifting PB Connect towards a retail-led model and using AI across product matching, risk filtering and customer service. The presentation leaves unresolved whether these initiatives will lift repeat engagement, wealth activity or graduation from secured to unsecured credit.
