Record month as volumes cross six digits

Utility vehicles lead: 60,393 domestic SUVs

M&M said domestic SUV sales rose 28% year-on-year to 60,393 units in June 2026, compared with 47,306 units in June 2025. Including exports, total utility vehicle dispatches were 61,504 units for the month.

The SUV number mattered not only because it crossed the 60,000 mark, but also because the utility vehicle business anchored overall growth at a time when investors closely track OEM momentum through monthly dispatch data.

Commercial vehicles: 26,076 domestic LCVs under 3.5T

In commercial vehicles, M&M reported domestic sales of 26,076 units in June, a 35% year-on-year increase. This figure was specifically stated for the sub-3.5-tonne LCV segment.

Beyond autos, M&M’s farm equipment business also reported growth. The company sold 58,177 tractors in June 2026, registering 12% year-on-year growth.
