Ponni Sugars (Erode) Limited is a sugar production company with operations based in Erode, India. It has a daily crushing capacity of 3500 tonnes and generates 19MW of power.

The company was initially part of Ponni Sugars and Chemicals Ltd and became independent following a demerger approved in 2001 but effective from 1999.

Ponni Sugars has implemented a unique Lift Irrigation Scheme, increasing local land value and providing irrigation by using effluent discharge from a nearby paper mill.

Ponni Sugars has pioneered in diverting bagasse for paper production, using multi-fuel boilers to minimize coal consumption and embrace eco-friendly practices.

The company plans to expand into ethanol production with a 45 KLPD distillery-cum-ethanol plant that is set to be commissioned soon.
